Jin gently nodded several times, taking in all the information. It was quite a lot to take in, so he had to take it easy.

"The doctor thinks the same." Yoongi intervened again. "He couldn't be sure if Jungkook was aware of what his gem was doing. In fact, he said that even if he was aware of it, he didn't know if he would be able to control it. Besides, if I had felt something strange like that, I wouldn't have said it."

"Well, to tell the truth, there was a time when it felt strange."

"Oh yeah? When was that, that I didn't find out?" Jin asked, interested.

"You didn't realize why you were driving, but Jungkook started to feel bad. Well, I don't know if that's the best expression, but it's the closest. Apparently, his gem was unstable." Namjoon counted.

"Unstable?" Jin was frowning, and Yoongi was interested in Namjoon's response. "Joonie, I'm sorry, but no one said anything about Jungkook being unwell."

Namjoon stared at him blankly, until finally, a light came on in his head. "Ah, sorry, I didn't explain myself well. I was referring to when we were going to look for Yoongi Hyung at his house. Jimin asked him if he was okay, and Jungkook replied he thought his gem was unstable. Although, if I'm honest, he didn't seem to have a clue why. I thought it was because of the stress of the situation, but seeing that his gem and Yoongi Hyung's connected, it might be because of what was happening with the shadows."

"Oh sir, we have more and more details. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. The only thing I do know right now is that it's giving me a headache with a side of unanswered questions." Jin said with two fingers on the bridge of his nose, as if that way he could stop the headache that was to come.

"Welcome to the club, Hyung," Yoongi said with a growl.

"Well, at least we know Jungkook didn't understand what was going on either." The other rapper commented after a while.

"Yeah, well, I didn't understand it before I got home. After what happened, I assume you tied up the loose ends."

"Yoongi is right. But that also doesn't answer the question of whether or not the controlled his gem. If you want my opinion, I think that is something that someone could do after many years, with more experience in this of gems. But Jungkook? He is still a child." Jin had resumed his previous position against the back of the sofa, and now his hands were clasped in his lap, the epitome of calm.

"Come on, Hyung, don't say that. He may be younger than us, but that doesn't make him a boy. It is far from it." Namjoon claimed in defence of the boy.

"Joonie, he's 23 and I'm going 28. For me, it's like a baby." Jin quickly replied.

"You say it like you're turning 50."

"Look, even if it was only two years apart, it would still be a baby." Beside him, Namjoon shook his head from side to side in resignation. "It's not because of age, but because of the aura, it gives off. It makes him look so much younger and more vulnerable. And what do you do when someone is vulnerable? Protect it." Jin sentenced.

Namjoon raised his hands in a gesture of surrender. He agreed with Jin that the boy's shyness made your heart melt and you wanted to protect and care for him. But that didn't mean he was a boy.

"How old do you say he is?" Yoongi asked.

So deep were they in their conversation, they had completely forgotten that Yoongi was still with them. Namjoon was still holding his hands up.

"You mean Jungkook? 23." The older answered without understanding.

Yoongi sank further, if possible, into the couch, and let out a sigh as he looked at the ceiling. "Is too young."
