a couple months later kobe and y/n started being friends again but he's still with tatyana but y/n is single and her and justin still can't stand each other they almost got into a physical fight after y/n punched him until dejuane dragged her upstairs and the others made justin go home but other than that everything was fine but dejuane is talking back with lucianna she recently came back feeding them some sappy ass story but y/n, kairi, mattia, alejandro, and the girls haven't talked to her since she got there she comes over every time dejuane does so even though they see her nearly every day they don't talk to her and dj hates being around her he screams and cries whenever dejuane comes to pick them up to take them to his house so he's been staying with y/n while azlynn goes over there just to see dejuane but also so lucianna can teach her how to do makeup which y/n could do but whatever anyways they were coming back over today to get the kids and dejuane said he had a gift to give y/n for some reason but he wouldn't tell her but she got up getting showered and dressed then she went in the kids room packing their bags with all their favorite toys and clothes and once she saw dejuanes car pulling up outside she picked up the kids and their bags and carried them downstairs while dj gripped on to her yelling and crying saying he didn't want to go and once dejuane walked through the door azlynn ran to him as he picked her up and y/n handed him her bag while lucianna walked through the door and y/n took dj into the kitchen while rubbing his back and bouncing him up and down trying to get him to calm down so she could give him to dejuane

Lucianna: just give him to dejuane he'll be fine
Y: dejuane isn't the problem it's you sweetie he doesn't want to be around you
Lucianna: you probably made him do that because you can't stand dejuane is back with me
Y: y'all aren't even together yet so i don't care i wouldn't care even if y'all were and why are you so dumb i can't make him like you so y'all can take azlynn but dj is staying with me
Dejuane: come on y/n you had him last weekend also you aren't even giving me all my time with them i have mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays but i haven't had dj in months
Y: i know and i'm sorry but he doesn't want to go
Dejuane: come on y/n isn't there something you could do
Y: i can go over there with him for a while but i'm pretty sure whenever i get ready to leave he's going to want to come with me
Dejuane: well then you could spend the night so i'll at least see him for a day
Y: i really don't want to though
Dejuane: please y/n i promise it'll be fun
Y: ehh i don't know i really don't want to be near lucianna
Lucianna: i'm right here i can hear you
Y: i know i'm not blind
Dejuane: you can sleep in my room and i'll sleep somewhere else so that way you won't be near her
Lucianna: i sleep in there
Dejuane: well you can sleep somewhere else for a day
Lucianna: fine
Y: i don't like you
Lucianna: i can tell
Y: but i'll come only for today then we're leaving tomorrow
Dejuane: ok that's all i ask for is today and i'll be able to give you my gift
Y: fine but if she says one thing out of place i'm leaving dejuane
Dejuane: she won't now go get your stuff

i rolled my eyes and gave dj to dejuane while i went and got my stuff ready then i came back downstairs and waved bye to everyone and i got in my car with dj while dejuane got in his with lucianna and azlynn and drove to his house once we got there i hesitantly stepped out the car grabbing me and dj stuff then he hopped out and i held his hand all the way to the door and he came upstairs with me as we sat on dejuanes bed watching a cartoon together then later dejuane came in with a box about the size of a tv and laid it on the bed while i smiled at him

Y: what is this
Dejuane: it's your gift
Y: i don't need this big of a gift dejuane especially since i don't know what it's for
Dejuane: well today is the day that would've been our anniversary for our wedding if we were still together
Y: but we aren't so why do i need a gift
Dejuane: all because we aren't together doesn't mean i can't reminisce on what used to be and you deserve it
Y: i don't need it though dejuane
Dejuane: oh lord just shut up and open it
Y: fine jeez

i start opening the gift and when i do the folds fall down and i see thousands of pictures on all four sides and it was so pretty and in the middle was another box so i opened that one and more pictures came flooding out then there was one more little box and when i opened it there was two necklaces that had the kids names on it and two matching rings that had the date i first started dating dejuane and as i smiled looking at the pictures and the accessories i felt tears sliding down my face and i wiped them before they touched the pictures then i opened my arms and gave dejuane a tight hug

Y: i love it
Dejuane: i knew you would but you deserve y/n you deserve the world and i'm sorry i couldn't give that to you but i'll make up for it everyday i promise
Y: i don't need the world dejuane where i am in life is perfect
Dejuane: well i'm glad you like it
Y: it's beautiful how could i not
Dejuane: the necklaces are both for you but which ever ring you like the most keep and then give me the other
Y: ok take this one

i gave dejuane the one that was my second choice and we put them on then he grabbed the necklaces and i lifted my hair as he put it on me and i got up picking dj up and calling azlynn and once she came i picked her up too and sat them on the dresser while i looked in the mirror looking at the necklaces and they were touching them and telling me they liked them then dejuane went and turned the light off for some reason and he came to me with a flashlight and shined it on the necklaces and pictures of azlynn and dj illuminated on the wall and stood there amused while the kids jumped up and down talking about how they see themselves and laughing and i turn around hugging dejuane then he kissed my head and hugged me back and we stayed like that for a while until he pulled away and i thanked him one more time then he walked downstairs as i brought the kids on the bed to show them the pictures
