[Talisa]

I walked into my bedroom after getting out of the bath and washing off all the sweat and grime from today.

I've always been drawn to Jekyll. And it isn't just because he is nice to me. Sure, he is the only one who hasn't treated me like an idiot at first because I didn't speak the language very well. But the magic around him has always been fascinating.

I have always had a special relationship with magic since I was young. Even among the dragons I have a high affinity for it. When I first saw Jekyll, I knew he wasn't looking at his true appearance. On top of that I couldn't help but notice how warm the magic was around him. And I fell in love with the light in his eyes when he spoke.

The more I got to know him the more I fell for him, but I also knew he was keeping his distance. And at a certain point I could tell that he recognized my feeling because I saw some guilt behind his shining eyes.

But I can wait, it is hard, but I'd like for him to trust me with his secret. Liz has assured me that he will come around, but she doesn't know that I suspect Jekyll's secret. And ever since we got back from that trip to the festival by the beach, where I hardly saw him, I've noticed that the guilt behind his eyes has lessened like a huge weight from the shoulders has been lifted.

Then a girl named Shannon joined the Sorcery class and when I asked about it I learned that I could transfer into it too.

Just today I was able to train outside with the sorcery class in the sorcery exercise clothes which were very comfortable and easy to move in. I had a lot of fun training with Lilith since she is a homunculus. She is more sturdy than the humans in the class so I don't get as worried about hurting her with my strength. Everyone is so fragile compared to back home. There are only a few people I can go all out on and except for Lancelot who ended up beating me in that one tournament, but in the class Liz and Raven are the only two I've met that stand a chance against my true physical strength.

Liz, because she is not only sturdy but I've actually seen her regenerative powers at work and she has assured me that she is darn near unkillable pending special conditions even Jekyll hasn't told her of. Then Raven just has the speed and natural instincts to not get hit with a direct attack. I've seen her spare with the Lewellyn brothers and hasn't every been touched or needed to draw her blade. Even thought she carries it everywhere I've only every seen the blade itself when she ritualistically maintains it. That said, even I don't know if my scales could block a proper attack from that sword.

While I was sparring with Liz, Jekyll was getting some attention from Nerinin who was going around the training field tutoring. She was approached by the professor and foreign royalty about coming to the Elkwood territory. It sounds like she may be coming as well.

I set my towel down once my hair was dry enough and walked over to the window.

"You are always right on time Bandit." I said as I opened my window and let a small black cat in. He had a strip of white over his eyes with a white patch like a glove over his right front paw.

The night air was let in as well. It was cool and refreshing.

Although it was dark outside there were several light posts that lit up the pathways with glowing crystals. As a wind elemental type dragon, I can sense the slow currents of the wind as they pass around the light poles while being steadily guided by the buildings. I took in a deep breath and enjoyed the crisp air.

"Meow." Bandit said as he leapt onto the floor from the windowsill.

"Oh right, you just got here let me get you some food.
