AFTER SCHOOL

kakashi: pick up the pace! the tournament is in 2 days and no one should be slacking!

the players began to play much harsher than before and the masked man kept his eyes on a specific raven for most of their practice. he could see the way sasuke was trying to become better for the tournament, but it was that realization that curled the ends of kakashi's lips upwards

'you really are something...'

kakashi: stop hitting suigetsu with your hockey stick, kiba!

TO SAKURA

another day, another solo experience at the skating rink. she skated alone and continued to practice with her white figure skates as a cold ambiance accompanied her.  she kept her eyes darted to the floor like how she always did and continued to think of her recent life experiences.

sasuke and herself broke up, but whenever they talked now it was to either argue or to put each other on the spot. she didn't know how she was supposed to feel, but she knew that at this point her feelings wouldn't fall into her desire.

she was angry, upset, regretful, dumfounded.

things just felt like they were repeating themselves over and over again.

NEXT DAY (January 20th) 1 DAY UNTIL TOURNAMENT

jiraiya: with all of your poems, i'll be creating an anthology for future generations to look at. language class is a place where people can really express themselves, and i think an anthology would be a great thing to show to all of my future students.

kiba: i have a question

jiraiya: what is it?

kiba: what's an anthology?

naruto: i was wondering the same thing y'know

the long haired male sighed and turned himself around to write on his chalkboard for his students to see. sakura sat at her desk as she tapped her pencil onto her notebook and continued to think of how to finish her poem. turns out that her poem would be made into an anthology---- but it was that thought that brought her to feel something she couldn't necessarily describe

'everyone is going to know about my love for hockey....'

she figured that it wouldn't be that bad, but it still somewhat made her feel odd. she pressed her lips into a hard line as her pencil-tapping quickened

jiraiya: an anthology is a collection of poems or pieces of writing. it usually has a cover that has a basic title but can describe all of it's content into one basic word or two. the cover also has a drawing, and i will ask one of you to draw the cover to the anthology once i've put all the poems together. the best poem will be the first page.

ino: so it's a competition?

jiraiya smiled

jiraiya: basically, yes. but there's no pressure.

sai: i can draw the cover

ino flickered her eyes to the artist and her lips curved into a beautiful smile

ino: i think you would make a nice cover

deidara: what about me?

ino rolled her eyes

ino: no one cares

the blonde boy would have retaliated, but figured that he would just wait until class was over to tell her that his hair was prettier than hers.
