TO SAKURA
she walked to school alone. everywhere was wet from the rain yesterday and it was pretty cold as well. she looked up to see the cloudy grey sky beautifully displayed above.
she got to the school grounds and saw ino and hinata already there
ino: foreheads finally here
sakura smiled
hinata: morning s-sakura-chan
sakura: morning hina--
ino: don't leave sakura!
she protested to her best friend although she was unaware of the news
sakura: i'm not leaving ino
ino: hm what?
sakura explained what happened and her best friends smiled in delight
hinata: that's great sakura
ino: did he ask you out
sakura: no..
naruto: we're here!
sakura looked over to see sasuke, naruto, shikamaru and lee all walk towards them
lee: i'm glad you're staying sakura
a gentle shade of pink appeared onto his cheeks and he gave her a thumbs up. she looked over to sasuke and notice him already staring at her. she quickly looked away which caught narutos attention. he smirked
naruto: guys i wanna show you something, but sasuke and sakura can't come
he quickly pushed everyone away from the shy girl and the cold boy.
sasuke: that dobe
sakura chuckled and looked back at sasuke. he looked down at her and smiled
sasuke: i just remebered how ugly your pink hair is when it's wet
he teased her and she lightly hit his arm
sakura: i forgot how much of a cliche boy you could be
sasuke looked down.
sasuke: at least i don-- wait isn't that kakashi-sensei's hockey jersey?
she nodded as she looked down at her hockey jersey
sasuke: you're not l-leaving right?
he was still looking down
sakura: yeah..
sasuke: hmph
the bell rang and they all headed inside. they got to class and soon class started. they all returned to being their usual selves as they were happy to know that their friend was no longer leaving. although everyone could see a shift in the friendship that sasuke and sakura possessed. they seemed different. they were still friends but something was still different
suigetsu: is it just me or does something seem a little different between... y'know
he caught the class's attention as they all looked at who he was pointing at. sakura and sasuke normally sat beside each other and looked at the fish looking boy oddly
sasuke: shut up suigetsu
suigetsu: don't worry sasuke, i'm just stating the obvious
sasuke: then you should also state that you're the only one in here that looks like an ugly fish
the class started the 'oohs' after sasuke's odd but truthful comeback
kakashi: that's enough sasuke, suigetsu
