♡ Part 55: new years eve ♡

NEXT DAY (December 31st)

TO NARUTO

he woke up to someone shaking him. he slowly opened his eyes to see shikamaru trying to wake him up

shikamaru: wake up. 

shikamaru yawned and finally stopped trying as naruto sat up. it was currently 10am. the plan was for them to go out at 7pm and enjoy their night outside where a little winter festival was being held and then at 12am they would head to the shrine.  

naruto: mhm...

he rubbed his eyes and got up to do his morning routine. after he took his shower he left the washroom and went back to his room to get changed and head downstairs. once he did he went downstairs and was greeted by the smell of fresh cooked breakfast. he went to the kitchen to see his mom, dad and sakura preparing the food as kakashi peacefully leaned against the stove with his icha icha book in his hand. naruto smiled widely

'damn that sensei' 

he wrapped his arm around his mom and heard a small chuckle

kushina: you finally woke up y'know

naruto: hm yeah

sakura: is this how you do it uncle minato?

minato: here let me help

naruto watched his dad help out sakura and it just made him think about many things. the main thought that ran through his head was if this would be how life would turn out if they got together? he then clutched onto his own blonde locks which caught kakashis attention. he ran his fingers through his grey locks and stared at the blonde boy. he walked closer to naruto

kakashi: -whisper- be a little more subtle with your feelings

kakashi walked out without sharing a glance with anyone else and left. 

sakura finished her part and untied her hair. she looked at naruto and smiled

sakura: let's go watch a movie naruto

she grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the kitchen and into the living room.  they sat down and looked for a movie to watch and finally the others started coming along

Shikamaru: what are you guys watching

Sakura: we don't know yet, help us

He sat down and they finally found a movie to watch. Their day passed and it was finally 5pm. About 2 hours before they were heading to the winter festivle and the shrine. 

TO SAKURA

Herself and the girls decided to get ready together in her room. Kakashi had already changed and finished getting ready beforehand so that he wouldn't have to intrude on the girls. 

Ino: your kimono is probably the prettiest billboard brow

Sakura: hinata and aunt kushina have good taste

Hinata smiled gently as she looked down at her kimono. Kushina then came and saw the girls getting ready. Her face lit up as she saw how amazing the girls looked. she leaned against the door and watched them

kushina: you guys look great 

hinata: t-thank you aunt kushina

kushina: by the way, the car that we have can fit upto 8 people. but theres 10 of us

tenten: oh. well neji and i can take a taxi or something

kushina: i knew you two would want to be together but naruto is moving extra slow because of his ankle.  i figured that shikamaru would want to go in the first round and so i wondered if any of you would like to go with him
