kushina: come look
naruto and sakura kneeled down and started looking through the bags
kushina: here this one is yours sakura
sakura looked at it oddly and then looked inside. her eyes widened and then looked back at the red haired beauty
sakura: is this for tomorrow?
kushina smiled widely and nodded
kushina: hinata and i chose that one specifically for you
sakura smiled widely and took it out of the bag. a beautiful kimono was inside and she stared at it and admired its features
hinata: that c-colour will l-look great on you sakura-chan
sakura: thank you hinata, aunt kushina
she hugged her best friend and kushina happily as naruto stared at it confused
naruto: a kimono?
kushina: tomorrow is new years eve and so we'll all head to the nearby shrine together. we usually wear kimonos once we do so. i thought it would be great if we all dressed up and go together
kakashi: it certainly is beautiful
sakura stared at it and couldn't wait to wear it
sakura: let's see the rest
the girls started looking at the other kimonos that they picked out and naruto got up and sat beside kakashi
naruto: are you going too kakashi-sensei?
kakashi: of course. you don't want to?
naruto pointed down to his leg and kakashi nodded
sakura: you have to come naruto
naruto: bu--
kushina: disagree one more time and i--
naruto: o-okay i'll go
he stared at his mom a bit terrified. he didn't want to get on her bad side. heck, no one does. it's scary
ino: we're back!
she came inside along with everyone else and once they went to the living room, they looked at the bags oddly
tenten: what are in the bags
kushina: your kimonos y'know
their eyes widened and they quickly went to choose out their kimonos.
neji: they look great
shikamaru: yeah
sakura stood up and headed towards her room. she went inside and started changing into her kimono and once she finished, she looked at herself in the mirror. not in a million years did she think that she would wear a kimono this beautiful. a smile made its way onto her lips as she stared at her reflection
'sasuke....'
she thought about how sasuke would react to this. just the thought of him made her happy. she decided to take a photo and send it to him.
she sighed and changed back into her regular clothes.
TO SASUKE
itachi: you don't like them?
he looked down feeling a little bit disappointed in his choice as sasuke didn't seem too pleased. sasuke looked at his brother and felt a little guilty and so he forced a smile and held the socks a little tighter
