Moving to another state is one thing, but starting a new school is a whole different thing. I barely slept last night, I kept keeping track of time.

Some people get excited the night before their first day in school but I am definitely not one of them. I get really anxious.

My sole motive always is to be invisible in school until it's time for me to move again but unfortunately, I attract tormentors so it doesn't always go as planned.

Last night, I had a long talk with God, I told him a lot.

My mom used to pray with me every day before she died, but unfortunately, I stopped after she died. I had my personal grudge with God, but last night, I made amends and prayed to him.

I told him to help me become invisible in the eyes of bullies. I hope he listens, cause we're still on probationary terms.

I carefully park my car, take deep breaths to calm down and look around.

The parking lot id almost full which only means one thing, I am late as hell.

Really! Savannah?, how can you be late on your first day at school and not want to be noticed? Oh, God!.

I rush out of my Chevelle SS.

My dad surprised me with my dream car the night we got to California. I don't know if that was an apology or he was just trying to fulfill his promise. Either way, I have a new car so it doesn't bother me that much.

I run as fast as I can towards the school while trying to pull out the school map from my bag. My dad gave it to me last night, and I have no idea how he got it.

In the hallway were a few people still walking around.
I sigh and look through my map. I have History and I have no idea where the class is plus this stupid map is making me confounded.

I finally find my class and my locker but I do not have time for that right now, I am very late, and today is my first day in school, there is no way I am going to finish the day unnoticed.

I run down the hallway even though, I knew damn well I am not supposed to.

A middle-aged man shrieks, "NO RUNNING IN THE HALLWAY". I roll my eyes and slow down. I briskly climb the stairs. There is another hallway with classrooms, I walk slowly trying to find my class, and I finally do.

I take in a deep breath and exhale to calm myself and I finally open the door. There is no teacher and the room is very quiet.

Wow.

This is going to be awkward. I didn't even realize everyone was looking at me. I smile nervously as I try to find a seat, luckily enough for me, I didn't have to struggle, I immediately find an empty desk on my right and I sit.

Then I hear whispers.

Why? am I doing something wrong, am I supposed to do some sort of ritual before I sit?.

I look around nervously and almost all of them are still looking at me.

If anybody has a problem, they can just tell me NOW.

The door opens and three girls enter. No, my bad. Two girls and a boy, obviously a screaming queen.

They walk in super slow motion. I mean how do people walk in super slow motion, was that some sort of superpower? They are gorgeous as hell, I mean all three of them.

The most gorgeous and classy trio I have ever seen in a high school. I was there thinking I had seen it all in Florida.

Wait, are they walking towards me? Damn. They are! I hope they're nice.

"Move your dusty ass off my desk" Oh boy.
The blondie with blue eyes orders, obviously their gang leader. Wait! She's asian with a blonde hair and blue eyes? Wow, There was a lot of stuff I was expecting, this is definitely not one of them.

"SHE SAID MOVE!!" The screaming queen yells and I jump.

"Uh- erm-uh-" I stammer.

"Uh-uh-uh what? are you just deaf or you're dumb?" The brunette says harshly. "Move before, I shove you, we both wouldn't like that, would we?!".

I quickly stand and take my bag. I did not want to be noticed and I mean that, and not going to give anybody any reason to bully me.

"Uh- am sorry," I say and move.

I look around again and I finally find another seat.
I walk briskly to the seat.

As soon as I touch my butt on the desk, the door opens again and the middle-aged man who yelled at me earlier, enters.

I have a bad feeling. Ha! There is something in this school that is going to creep under my skin for the rest of my life, and I am sure what or who that is.

He walks slowly to the front of the class and glares at the students for some seconds.

"Welcome back to school, this is your senior year, and I expect a lot of maturity, no more junior year drama, be a senior Stanton High School would be proud of. My name is Mr. Matthew Miller and I am going to be your homeroom teacher and your History tutor this year."

Oh hi, Mr. Miller, I'm Savannah Jennings and I can't wait to see what Stanton High has for me.
