Ch-41 Combat Class

|| Cirun and Alven.
Mr. Blak suddenly yelled.

|| Yes sir
We both replied in one tone like a soldier

|| Thanks for the praise sir.
We both again replied like a soldier. It was not necessary but we both just did it instinctively. Maybe it's because his voice sounds similar to a military officer.

Although it's true that with two swords my chances of winning would have increased a bit it would not an easy win at all. When we were fighting I noticed that Cirun have talent in swords. He can easily adapt to the fighting style of others. When we were fighting I thought that I have the upper hand but once he adapts to my style it became very difficult to land a hit in him. He is a genius, Just doesn't know it yet.

|| Well anyway. Let's watch how Kuril Michi is doing.
I changed the subject or this would have been gone for much longer.

We went to the arena that Kuril was about to fight. The battle was about to start when we arrived.

Kuril was using a dagger. Since daggers are easier to carry many mages prefer it. The girl Kuril was fighting was also using a dagger.

By their battle pose alone, I could tell that Kuril is experienced in combat, but the other girl is not that good with close combats.

The match started and the girl ran towards Kuril. Kuril didn't move at all and when the girl got close, she jumped and tried to attack from above. Kuril moved to side avoiding her attack and then placed the dagger on her neck.

The girl surrendered and Kuril won. It was an easy battle for Kuril because she is good at Combat and her opponent didn't have much battle experience.

When the battle ended Kuril came to us.

|| Kuril I didn't know you can fight this good.
Cirun said.

|| No it's not that good, it's nothing compared to you three.

|| No. It was very good and smooth. Your movements were flawless and you were confident. I liked it very much.
Cirun said in a rather intimidate voice

Kuril cheeks turned red hearing this. Cirun is surely quite bold to say the word "like" casually but then I noticed that Cirun was embarrassed after realizing what he just said.

These two... Anyway, I tried to change the subject to lessen up this tension.

|| By the way, where did you learn how to use daggers.

|| From my second uncle. He was also an adventurer but now he is retired. He used to visit our house quite often when he was still an adventurer and teach me how to use the dagger. For me, he is my inspiration to become an adventurer.

Considering that Kuril's uncle was an adventurer and she joined the academy to become an adventurer, the Vitur family doesn't seem to be strict on the occupation of their children.

|| Hey let's go, it seems that it's Michi's turn.
Cirun said as lead us to an arena.

Michi was fighting against another beast person. She seemed to be a catgirl and was wielding a dagger.

Both were in a battle pose and as the match started the catgirl ran towards Michi. Michi did not move from her place. As she got close, the catgirl attacked, a clang sound was heard and the catgirl was thrown out of the arena.

Everyone was confused because for them Michi didn't even move but she did, but at a very high speed and deflected her dagger with great strength. The only handful of us was able to see this.

The match was finished.

As Michi got out of the arena she came towards me putting her head forward, I understood what she meant.

I patted her head and praised her for her win.

I was getting some intimidate stares more than when I showed outstanding performance during Magic class or when fought with Cirun but if I can pat this cute creature in front of me it's all worth it.

After some more mock battles. The combat class also finished.
