I chuckled at his idea of drawing your favorite fruit—at least he tried and its kind a cute to see him trying his best to lighten up those little orphans with furrowed faces. But thank God the orphans accepted it gleefully, and the best part is they treat you like their own teacher. Lucky him—he gets to check or sign signatures on his students' work like a proud lucky teacher. He actually deserved it for being the employee of the month. However, Roi's idea is kind a weird... He offered to play chess with the orphans who happened to be disappointed. I mean, who would do such a thing like that? I put my finger to my nose to scrunch and squint with abashed. I groaned. I sighed and coed to Roi while plucking him away from the orphans.

"I already told you to give them an energetic game where they can exercise with... "

"My bad." Now it's up to me to think of another game that can lift their spirits. I nodded sternly to have an idea, then it hit me. I walked towards them. "I love you." I emblemed "What? Are you okay? " Roi questioned.

Christian approached me and asked "Do you need to take a rest?" I looked closer at him. "No—I mean—I love you... I love you!" I emblemed gleefully, that made him grimace and gape at me. I waited for his response, but he didn't answer. "Well... that's a strange confession... you never see that every day," said Roi with gestures.

The orphans began to squeal again with awe that made me glare at them.

"Are you sure? "said Christian with coy and flushed cheek. "Wait... you think I actually love him." I prodded Christian and laughed long and hard. That turned his flushed cheek into a wistful cheek. "Ok... " I wiped my tears of joy, "No... you got it all wrong... I love you is a game."

"You mean... where people get to hurt other feelings by telling lies—well... I guess you surely know that game because you're an expert. " Christian scorn and glare at me. I furrowed my brows with wary. "No... it is actually a game, where you throw your one slipper at your back and someone needs to catch it, so they can spell the word I-Love-U— if they spell it, you need to get your slipper back by chasing them. If your bet loses the hand-bet where you could lose by not getting the same offer. "

"For instance, if I offered a palm hand and you offered a palm hand too, we were safe, but if you offered and didn't find a partner with the same offer, then you're the bet. It's more like the head and the crown on a penny. For example, you're the bet and any of them didn't catch the slipper and if the slipper turned its face properly, then everyone should freeze and don't move. If someone gets caught, then he or she becomes the bet, but if the slipper turns back, you need to find something to step on like there's lava on the ground.

"Ok... then let's play!"

"Let’s go"

"Wait! " I shouted and they listened carefully. "Before we start. I need you guys to introduce yourselves. " The orphans went coy. "Ok then... teachers first." I said and gave them a grinned. "You guys already know me... I am Zoey Caliyous Quantum but you can call me Ate Zoey (Ate is pronounced as At-ti), which is a word from a Filipino ethic where you call your elder brother or sister. Ate is for your elder sister or for your elder friend that is a woman and Kuya is for your brother or for your elder friend that is a boy to show respect). " After I introduced myself, I nudged Roi because I was afraid to bother Christian shuffling his feet and looking at it with a blank expression. "What is up? I’m Roi Geer Hamilton—I'm a person," said Roi. The orphans grimaced at him and waited for Christian to introduce himself. Christian finally looked at them and introduced himself. "You guys already know me. I'm the guy next door where you could call for help. I'm Christian Velvet Anderson. " The orphans introduced and their names are: Jannie, Harry, Peter, Connor, Ross, Digget, Chelsea, Chloe, Katrina, Toby, Keith and many more. We started to play a game called I-Love-U. That sounds ridiculous, but we had so much fun and spent the half day playing I-Love-U. As the slipper turned 'faced', we froze and Roi gets to be the bet when it comes to freezing because he can't help himself to scratch his butt while playing. But when it turned 'back', Christian got to be the bet because of his tardiness. The last thing I won't forget is that, when the slipper was once slant and everyone got their partners to hug, the only ones who did not have partners were me and Christian.

I couldn't dare myself to hug him feeling sheepish, but I hugged him anyway, with haste. It was the weirdest thing I ever did. We gazed upon our eyes at that moment where I hugged him.

The day went bye and the sun said farewell, but not literally.
We finished Sunday School and I'm ready to go to bed because I am exhausted from all those fun times we had. Did I not mention that we are having chicken and salad for dinner? Well... I'm a bit exhausted to eat dinner. "Ugh..." I groaned while heading back inside the church. I forced myself to eat even though I was feeling a bit exhausted that I couldn't even talk. The orphans and Roi and Christian were tired, they were covered with full of perspiration and so was I.
