It's Friday, which is tutor day. After school I go to my dorm and get a snack while I wait for Payton to arrive. I sit in my room and watch tv until Payton walks into my room

"Is knocking not a thing anymore" I say as he sits at my desk

"Oh so its ok when you come to mine with no warning but I can't do the same" he says taking out his Spanish book

"Yes that's exactly it, anyway pass me my Spanish book its in the second draw" I say

He opens the draw and gives me my book then takes out my notepad. It's plain black with random scribbles on the front.

"What's this" he asks

"Nothing" I say taking it out of his hand and he just gives me a questioning look " I hate you, you know"

"What why" he says acting offended

"Because you want to make me tell you things, like open up but I don't do that shit" I say opening my text book "Anyway what have you got to do" I ask

"Translation" he says showing me what he has to translate

We do his Spanish work then move on to maths. Like always I don't want to do it and can't concentrate because its boring. I can do most of this by myself and only need a little help. I keep on thinking about weather I should tell Payton or not.

"Do you want to know" I ask as I finish one of my last questions

"What" he asks turning around on my desk chair

"About the therapist and stuff, do you want to know why" I ask

"Sure, only if you want to tell me" he says and I take in a deep breath

"My dad was an alcoholic and was abusive but only to me. It kinda fucked me up as a kid, he left when I was 10. I became angry and would misbehave, then I discovered alcohol. I became worse so my mum sent me here" I say and he kind look at me blankly

"Wow, I umm..." he says "I wasn't expecting that. I'm sorry Kaden I had no clue" he says coming and sitting next to me

"Its ok, being here has made me think and I'm turning into him. The one thing I never wanted to happen and it did" I say

"No you are not, you are better than that Kaden. You are nothing like him" he says wrapping his arms around me "I know you don't want to but go to counselling, it could help you and then you don't have to feel like him"

"Ok" I say "I will go. Will you come to the principle with me tomorrow" I ask

"Of course I will" he says

We finish maths then carry on watching stranger things. We're on season four now and its kinda addicting to watch. We finish and I'm mad at the ending. Payton gets up to leave.

"Hey you wanna have a movie night" I ask before he walks out of the door

"Sure why not, I'll got get stuff from my door the go get snacks from the shops" he says

"Ok I'll see you in a bit" I say

"See ya" he says walking out

I get my phone that was on my desk and texts
