Chapter 24: The Last Hope

Aria opened her eyes, she looked around. She was in what looked like her room in the bounty, Wu was sitting down next to her bed.

"sensei" Aria said as she sat up

"Good to see you are awake" Wu says sounding relieved as he stands up

"What happened?" Aria asks

"the ninja found you unconscious at the shore, how did you get here?" Wu asks

"I don't know, i woke up on the shore before... before passing back out" Aria told him

"what do you remember last?" Wu questioned

"A Gold dragon in the sky" Aria replied "then pain"

"Well I'm glad that we found you before anyone else did" Wu patted her head "come, the ninja were worried"

The two walk out to see the Ninja are celebrating their restored powers by shooting down coconuts.

"Enough! Are you trying to reveal our hidden location?" Wu shouts angrily

"Sorry sensei" the ninja apologize

"Be wary of overconfidence, Ninja. While it is true your powers can defeat the Stone Warriors, only Lloyd alone has the power to defeat Garmadon. When it is all over, then we will see who laughs last" Wu lectures

"Yes, Sensei" the ninja say

Aria walks over and the ninja smile "Aria!"

"hey" she greeted

The ninja all ran over to her

"We were worried when we found you" Zane says

"How did you get here?" Cole asks

"I don't even know" Aria tells them "I just woke up here"

"Well it's good that you're safe" Kai sighs "we were worried your father might have seen you"

"oh... no I haven't seen him" Aria lied

"well good" Lloyd hugs her "I don't want you getting hurt"

"don't turn all sappy on me greenie" Aria pinched his cheeks

"Aria stooooop" Lloyd grabbed her hands and made her stop, she laughed and Lloyd rolled his eyes "yes yes very funny"

Jay smirked

"get that look off your face Jay" Cole glared at him "It's not gonna happen"

"oh it's going to happen" Jay replies "I ship it"

"oh god" Cole covers his face

"so boys" Aria says getting their attention "what's the plan?"

Risking everything, the 4 Ninja disguise themselves as Stone Warriors, and escort Misako to Lord Garmadon's camp, pretending to have captured her. While Lloyd and Aria stayed back at camp.

"What's going to happen when this is all over?" Lloyd asked "do you really think we can win"

"I don't know" Aria took his hands "I know you can win, you've trained hard for this day"

"and so have you" Lloyd tells her

"I can't do it Lloyd" Aria put her head on Lloyd's shoulder "I can't kill my father"

"you don't even remember him" Lloyd says confused

Aria took the picture out of her locket and showed him "he loved me and mama, how can I kill him. I'm his favorite daughter, and yet he cursed me"
