You follow Jaden up the stairs but hear someone downstairs say "I don't care if they broke up Mads is going to flip." You can't help but be confused. Are they together or not? Does Jaden like you or is this just a friendly gesture.
You walk into Jaden's room and look around for somewhere to sit. Even though the rest of the house looks like a mansion, the bedrooms look like dorms and there is only a bed and a guitar here. Jaden tosses a pair of sweats and t-shirt onto the bed and motions for you to change as he pulls his t-shirt over his head
Y/N: "Um is there a bathroom or somewhere I can change?"
J: "My b, I wasn't thinking. Yeah you can change in here because I'm gonna go hop in my shower"
You are struggling to concentrate because with his shirt off you can really see how fit he is. After, you change you check your phone to see if your dad has tried to call... he hasn't. Why do you feel so hurt by that? This is what you wanted to just be left alone for a while to live your life.

And that's exactly what you're doing alone in a strange boy's bedroom wearing clothes that aren't yours. God, what are you thinking, you start to panic. Just as you get the urge to run Jaden walks in hair soaking wet and noticeably still shirtless
J: "Are you getting tired or do you wanna watch a movie maybe?"
Y/N: "I'd be down to watch a movie but speaking of sleeping..."
J: *interrupting* "Yeah about that we do have a spare room because Anthony is heading home with his girlfriend Avani. You can get comfortable in here and I can go in there after the movie"
You settle into the bed while Jaden tosses you the remote. You playfully argue between watching "After" or "Bad Boys" until Jaden wrestles away the remote and plays keep-away with it. While laughing and wrestling you finally start to forget the horrible fight with your family hours ago.
While you're not looking Jaden pushes play on "After" and you two settle into watching. It really is weird how comfortable you feel with this boy so close considering you've only known him for about 6hrs. Sometime around Tessa and Harden's first kiss in the movie, you realize it's very quiet
Y/N: "Jaden?"
No answer and you realize his breathing is slower. How does he look even cuter in his sleep!? You wake up later and it's still dark out. You don't even remember falling asleep. You had considered waking Jaden up to move but he had just been so cute sleeping

He was so close to you now and you couldn't help but stare at his perfect face. You reach over and run your hands through his hair. Jaden reaches over in his sleep and pulls you by the waist closer to him. Before you can object Jaden nuzzles his head against you and whispers in his sleep
J: "I like when you play with my hair"
You know reality will be hard to face tomorrow but for tonight you decide to just let your family problems, your fears, and his hopefully ex-girlfriend go. You run your fingers through his soft hair as you drift off back to sleep
