Having a clumsy cat is a bit like having an obnoxious, but not otherwise malevolent ghost.
In that you hear lots of strange, mildly explainable noises, things get knocked off of shelves, clothes and towels and stuff get dragged around the floor, and at night you see shadows and shapes moving around the house.
To be fair, it could be a ghost. But I'm putting my money on the cat.
