The devil kept his wings when he fell. And they did not rot with disuse.
In heaven angels must beat their wings constantly to stay in the presence of God. To keep from falling.
It is work.
And the devil does not blindly work for the enjoyment of others.
No. It was not until he fell that he learned to enjoy flying. He learned that the quick moments of free fall are the best part.
You can find him on your way to heaven. Teaching new souls to dip and dive and fly.
They never make it to heaven. Not because they can't. But because after spending a life of working for someone else, they finally decided to do something for themselves.
