Where am I?

Dark. Cold. Nothing. Tumbling, falling, darkness. Endless.

Suddenly I feel hard cold earth beneath my body. The sun is beating down on me, scorching my skin. Dust and dirt is gathered in my eyes. Pain is singing in every part me.

Who am I?

I slowly open my eyes, the suns harsh light blinding me. I grimace in pain as feelings start coming back into my legs. Oh dear notch, everything hurts. My head is pounding.

Where am I?

Ever so slowly I try to push myself to my feet, but my knees give way and I fall to the ground again. I don't have any energy. Eventually I begin to take in my surroundings. I'm lying on a field, grass itching my back. Trees towers above me, their canopy of leaves providing little shelter from the boiling sun. Flowers lazily waver in the breeze. I strain my ears and I hear the faint sound of trickling water.

How did I get here?

I try to remember what happened and why I'm here, but it makes my head pound so I stop. Everything's muddled and confusing; I can't recall anything. A sudden thought pushes from the back of my mind. My name. My name is Hannah. How do i know that? I shake my head. That name doesn't feel right. I consider it. Beatrice. I like that better.

Eventually I push myself to my feet, wincing in pain as I do so. Inspecting my arms and legs, I discover many cuts and bruises.

Suddenly I hear a twig snap behind me. Instincts kick in and I whip around, suddenly much stronger due to adrenaline pursing through my veins. But I turned to late.
" Look at her eyes!" was the last thing I heard before my world went black.
