CHAPTER 13

Just as I was about to buckle my seat belt, Jacob stop me and did himself. Weird.

When he was finish my breasts looked like a percentage with the seatbelt settled between them. If we crash, I know my boobs wouldn't let me leave the seat anytime soon.

Not too long after we were on our way to God knows where. Probably to his home since it was probably him to took the assignment. Way to go Vanessa...you could easily get kidnap.

We pass loads of tall shy high buildings then fancy looking house and some little on the good side homes then to a long road surrounded by land and trees where cars where passing us at a steady pace. Damn...maybe he's probably going to kill me.

" Relax...I'm not going hurt you", how did he know what I was thinking. With the how expression look on my face. He gave me an answer.

"You wouldn't stop shaking your foot and your eyes look like they would pop from all the thinking you are doing"

Well from the looks of all these trees and no houses near by with just cars and a road that seems endless, it would damn well seem like you were out to gut me.

"Gut you?", Wait did I say that out load.

"Yes you did", Jacob softly laugh while he turn on some music to get rid of some of the uncomfortableness between us.

I on the other hand decided to make small talk although I wasn't too good at it, " Sooo.....", I drag out.

"So?", Jacob tease taking his eyes off the road for a minute to look at me with a smirk on his face.

"What's up between you and Luke", Finally picking something to talk about.

" He's you're friend. Shouldn't you be asking him that"

"I would of but you're here so I'm asking you", I shrug, giving him my full attention, "and I'm trying to make small talk", I added.

All he did was nod but didn't response until after a good five minutes of so when the trees were beginning to gain my interest.

"He hates me", Jacob murmured so soft I almost missed it.

"But why?", Urging him go continue I turn my body side ways towards him. It was story time.

" When we were highschool, there was this girl. We were all friends. Luke was my best bud before we met her. I knew he had feelings for her after we started to hand out regularly but I had feelings for her as well"

Hmmm...a girl

" Seeing how much he liked her, I step back and let whatever that was between them to happen and eventually I didn't like her anymore. Luke and I did almost everything together especially sports, football.
There was this big championship coming up between our school and another and the coach train day and night...we barely got any sleep. On the day of the game, we won and I was so glad that it was over that all I wanted to do was get some rest. That's what I had told luke when he wanted us to go and celebrate. What I didn't expect to happen that night, happened."

"What happened?", I whispering wanting to know more.

" She came at me", Jacob frowned for a second then went back to his stone cold face, focusing his eyes on the road as he should.

"What?!", I almost shouted because I couldn't believe it. I mean I knew where this was going but damn.

" When I got home that night. I took a shower. I was too tired to put on any clothes so I slept in my towel", for a second he turn to me and flash one of his smile, " I sleep naked by the way."
