ANNA

January 20 - Monday

At last, I am no longer going to fight. I can finally sit in my chair all day, not listening to anyone. For the rest of the thousand students here, normal lang ang weekend nila. I bet they wish na sana hindi pa tapos ang weekend nila. Pero ako, it was a blessing that it was already Monday. Ako lang yata ang natutuwa na Lunes na.

I entered the school, like a normal student. Sa paglalakad ko, nakita ko na naman ang mga student scouts. They grew from a few to a hundred now. Biglang pumasok ulit sa isip ko ang heist. We need that money now.

Sa paglalakad ko, biglang may yumakap sa akin sa likod. My first instinct was to use my elbow to destroy his stomach. Pero nang marinig ko ang boses, I suddenly let my guard down.

"Anna! Na miss kita!" Isang parang batang sinabi ni Jenna.

I have never encountered a scenario like this in my life. Kung saan may nakakamiss sa akin tapos yayakapin na lang ako bigla. Muntik ko na nga siya masikmuraan eh. Is this the benefits of having friends?

Hindi rin ako makapaniwala na na miss niya talaga ako. It has only been 2 days! At naging kaklase ko siya for 4 years now!

She let go, and came in front of me. Her cologne was definitely the first thing I noticed. Hindi mo akalain na hacker pala 'to.

"How are you? Kamusta ang training mo?" Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko nang may nagsalita sa likod ko. It was not David.

How could Flenn and the group know about this? Did David tell them? Does he trust them that much?

"P-paano mo nalaman 'yon?"

"Oh, I know it's a secret, but David already told us." She whispered.

Why do David trust the group so much? To know that Ria and Ben are there.

Out of nowhere, biglang sumulpot si Ria at Ben sa harapan ko. I never had an experience na kasama ako sa isang group. I used to be just alone ignoring the

world.

"Oh, except Ria and Ben." Pagpapatuloy ni Flenn. "David is still seeing if the sound waves will last long."

I noticed that David was not here.

"A-asan si David?"

"Miss mo na noh?" Biro ni Jenna, nag blush pa ang mga mukha niya.

"You Idiot! Kasama niya si David nung weekend." Sabi ni Flenn, na ikinahiya ni Jenna. "And David is in the library. I'm not sure why he is there, pero kita sa mga mukha niya na may iniisip siyang malalim, as if he's solving something."

"Could it be Math?" Tanong ni Ben. Ngayon ko lang ulit naalala na ganoon pala ang boses niya.

"Impossible." Sabi ni Ria, habang nag ce-cellphone. Her face was still like how she acts everyday. The difference? She is part of our group. "He is like the best student in math, imposibleng dumugo ang utak niya sa numbers."

It was weird to see Ria and Ben just being them without even questioning why they are here with us. I remember the sound waves. I wonder how long it will last on their brains. I cannot even believe that those machines exist!

"Why don't we just ask him?" Flenn suggested. "We still have 20 minutes before our first class."

Napagdesisyunan naming apat na pumunta sa library para malaman kung ano ang iniisip ni David. Is it that important na dalhin din niya iyon sa school? Does it have something to do with the group?

As we walk by, biglang may pumasok sa isip ko. Napatigil ako.

"What's wrong Anna? May masakit pa rin ba sa katawan mo?" Nag aalalang tanong ni Jenna.
