It was monday, when I joined the group.

Last week pa niya ako ininvite. Ngayong araw daw kami magkikita. Nasa labas ako ng cafeteria. Napansin kong kinakausap siya ni Anna. What a shame. Doesn't know how to be discreet.

When he sent me the link to a movie, alam kong pinapasali niya ako sa isang grupo. Kaso hindi ko alam for what purpose. Until I watched the film.

Lumabas na si David.

He knows we can do the meeting in school because I can act like him. Unlike Anna and Jenna, who probably doesn't know how to keep normal while talking about stealing money from the school.

As we goes out of the cafeteria, sumabay ako sa kanya. It's windy outside. Para kaming detectives. Stealing detectives. Ever since tinulungan namin si Anna sa pandadaya niya, alam na ni David na may potential ako para sa grupo niya. Weird, walang name ang group niya.

"Have you been thinking about it?" Pa bulong niyang tinanong.

We look like an awkward couple walking around the campus.

We then exchanged cards. Those cards have symbols like the joker, a diamond or a clover na nag dedescribe ng sinasabi namin. I took my card that he gave me last week and I gave him my diamond card which mean "YES"

I have already accepted his offer ever since he sent me the movie. He wants to start a heist. As simple as that. My life is boring nowadays. Stealing some money probably won't kill me. Unless our enemies are killing machines right?

It's okay to trust David I guess. Isa na lang siya sa mga matitinong estudyante rito sa school. Although I find it weird everytime he looks at me, at least he has some logical sense. The other students are just puppets.

But in case he betrays me anytime sooner, I know how he will pay me.

My right hand touched his left when I grabbed his chosen card. Tinignan ko ang ibinigay niyang card sa akin.

Kumunot ang noo ko. What the hell? Is this even a word? Tinapik ko siya.

"What is this?" I turn my head to his. I know David's not joking. I'm just not sure what this thing means.

"That's my father's language." He said, still looking straight forward with a poker face. "That means Welcome to The Group."

Welcome? I said I have only been thinking about. Is he a fortune teller?

Tumaas ang kanang kilay ko. "You know that I'm really interested but I only said I'm thinking about it. Are you a time traveller or what?"

"Hindi ko hinulaan ang kinabukasan." Lumalim ang boses niya. "I made you join the group." He made a cheerful cute face.

He makes a cute face when he smiles. Kung araw-araw siya ngumingiti, baka habulin na siya ng lahat ng malalanding estudyante rito.

"Could you please elaborate?" My ears are all open to answers.

"I have a talent for convincing. I can make you feel like you're the one deciding to join the group. But in reality, I messed with your mind."

Not that surprised. He's talent for convincing is pretty lame if you think about it. Convincing requires you talk but stealing only requires you not to be dumb in taking things away. Pretty simple logic.

Your talent makes me puke. Gusto ko sanang sabihin 'yon kaso ayokong saktang ang kawawang feelings niya. Plus he is our leader kaya bibigyan ko siya ng kaunting respeto. Tsaka cute siya.
