The drive to her apartment was the longest drive I've been on. I probably should have cut my hair. I could have worn anything else. Her driver was a friendly guy but I was to scared to ask him if I could change.
The driver took another direction.
"Miss Langar said to drop you off at the restaurant. Your bag will be dropped off at her place." The driver side.
I should have told him I needed to change. Once I saw the fancy restaurant. I wanted to turn back. I slowly got out the car. The moment I closed the car door he sped off. I walked into the fancy restaurant and a waiter was waiting for me. As I walked in people screamed.
"SURPRISE!!" Everyone screamed.
I just stood there. I saw my father come up to me. He hugged me.
"What's all of this."
"Ask your girlfriend." Just as I was about to look around. I saw her walking towards me. Pushing people aside just to get to me. I smiled but deep down I was freaking out. She was wearing a white short dress with red details on it. "I hope you don't mind." She screamed over the loud mess. She hugged me and I awkwardly hugged her back.
"Hey." I held her tightly. "Hey yourself." She pulled away. I  couldn't stop myself from staring at her. She was beautiful. I quickly collected my thoughts. When I was pulled away by family members. I caught up with people I hadn't seen in a while. Dad and Liz's families were even there. It was alot of people. It slowly become a party. Arden was busy making sure everyone was taken care of. I needed to be alone with her. After a while I gave up looking for her. I took a seat at the bar.
Just then a song started playing and the place some how turned into a whole rave.
I stood up to look for Arden again. I felt a hand grab me by the shoulder and pull me into the crowd. I turned and there she was. "Dance with me!" I hadn't danced a day in my life but I did not want to ruin the moment. She pulled me into a hug. I had missed her.
"I can't dance you know." I said as loud as I could. "It doesn't matter." She swayed her hips from side to side and I just copied her.

"So how was it?" Arden and I had left the party and ended up in an ice cream shop.
"Honestly it was great. I was dealing with alot of my emotions and I don't know..."
"Did it feel right?" She was drinking a milkshake and playing with the straw paper. I was sitting on the opposite side. Her legs were  on my lap. She said something about her heels killing her.
"It did...I missed you." I said. I did. If  I was being honest. "I miss you too."
"You father told me about your birthday and I just thought it would be great." She slurped her milkshake.
"It was I got to see some people I haven't seen in a while."
"Good." She smiled. I'd do anything to see her smile. She finished her milkshake and stood up.
"Come I wanna show you my new place." We walked for a few blocks before we got to her place.
"There are 10 apartments here." She said pressing the elevator door. We got in and she pressed the 10th floor.
"Your right at the top."
"Yeap."
We walked out and took the stairs. The view from the top was breath taking. She opend the door.
I walked in and immediately smelled like the perfume she wears. Light sent of lavender and sweet tea. It was huge. There was a second floor that seemed to be the bedroom. The windows were large too. Plants were scattered everywhere. All the furniture was white or brown. It was extremely luxurious. In the most futuristic way possible.
"What do you think?"
"It's something alright." I looked out the window. The city looked small from up here. The building was on a hill which made it seem so high.
"Come I have something to show you." I followed her out the apartment and down another hallway. "As you can see this studio apartment is large and nobody wanted to buy it but then I saw this and thought Oh my God Oliver will love this." She opened an old door into a smaller studio. It had all my art supplies. She even added more things. Random objects, lights and stands. "Wow." It was perfect. I walked around. It felt good to be in here. "The lighting in here is perfect." I couldn't help myself I kept touching everything.
"You got me a really large canvas stand."
"Don't get me started on this storage for the canvas. Ohhh wow." I looked at her and she was just smiling at me.
"What, too much excitment."
"You look cute when your excited."
I walked towards her and she stumbled towards me.
"I forgot your drunk."
I held her up.
"Here it's your keys." She handed me two.
"One for the apartment and one for the studio." She kissed my cheek.
"Look at you and your long hair." She brushed my hair with her hands. She kept smiling. I picked her up. She could hardly stand let alone walk back.
"I hope you like it."
"I love it." I took out the keys to the actual apartment. I unlocked the door. I placed her on a chair.
"Stay the night." She said slowly.
"You sure?"
"I gave you keys to my apartment. I'm SURE."
I picked her back up. She giggled. I walked all the way up the stairs. The bed was large with black covers and it was right by the window. The city kept this room well lit. I placed her on the bed.
"We should have sex tomorrow god knows I've waited long enough." I chuckled.
"Sure." I helped her take her shoes off and the dress.
I took of my own clothes.
"Now come let's cuddle." She pulled me on to the bed. I covered us both under the blankets.
"Goodnight." She mumbled.
"Goodnight Arden."
