Chaptered Story (4) [Part 2]

A year later after finding out Shouta was the traitor, Yagi took it the hardest, he was struggling to forget about him, he wants to drink those memories away but he couldn't drink, that was hard enough, that he lived in Shouta's apartment, hoping he would come back.

It was depressing but it was the only thing he could do considering he was already retired. He laid there by his bed, looking up the ceiling, he tried so much to sleep but he couldn't. He had been taking care of Eri, she had red eyes, kind of reminded him of Aizawa when he's using his quirk. If he was Todoroki, he would think Eri is his daughter of a one-night stand or something.

He was about to close his eyes when he heard a door knock, it's 11.00pm. Shit, he can't transform to All Might, he would pass out the next time if he had to fight at this time. He grabbed himself a broom stick just in case, he slowly opened the door and raised his broom. That is until he recognized the figure stood there, all injured, bruised.

"Shouta?"

"T-Toshi". That was the last thing he said before he collapsed, and Toshinori managed to catch him, gasping by the sight, Shouta was so bruised, a lot of injuries were untreated, and the worst one was his arm, his right arm was decapitated. Who could have done this to him? Was it the League? He had so many questions to ask but he needed help right now, gladly Zashi was done with his live radio show and immediately he came to get help from Zashi and Nemuri since she was on patrol tonight.

Yagi was glad that the two didn't hesitate to help because when they found about Shouta, they stated that they will never believe he was a traitor regardless all the evidence against him at this point.

They only could do so much at this point, giving as much ads first aid kid, and hoping Recovery Girl could help him tomorrow morning, Toshi made some tea fro them.

"Thanks Yagi-san". Zashi sighed, "I'm...glad he's back". He didn't realize his tears had slowly dripping out and started to flow, Zashi never cried, even if he did, he won't show it, and now he did, he felt vulnerable but it really took a while, everything that he had bottled up. Nemuri wrapped her arm around him and Yagi joined, they had a brief hug, comforting each other at this point as they would wait for Shouta to get better.

It was difficult to get Recovery Girl to help despite the hospital, but they had to send him to the hospital with RG's request to make it private because of the past, and treated him, the arm unfortunately will be replaced with a new prosthetic one unfortunately, other injuries would be healed soon with plenty of rest, that was enough for now. The three would take turns sleeping, to make sure they were there when Shouta wakes up.

Toshi had to tell Midoriya as well, out of all people, he did not expect his students would actually was so glad that their teacher was alive, they were too were not convinced how Aizawa was a traitor, even if they were on danger that Aizawa had put them to, they never doubt that Aizawa would not let them die at any rate. He was a villain but he had helped them being the future pro heroes, there was no villain act in that. He was genuinely teaching, training them to be the best, gave them support, may not show it but he tried.

Soon, the class had bought tons of gifts for their homeroom teacher, always remind Yagi to tell them if Shouta would be released from the hospital, Nemuri and Zashi had to go back to school for their classes. Yagi laid beside him, just slowly comforting Shouta by tracing lines on his hairline, just anything that is usually soothing for him. "I am here, I'll be here when you wake up, you can finally rest now".
