One Shot [9]

Whenever you're in a relationship, it was about time to step it up, that is meeting your partner's parents, for Yagi, he was in a total surprise, he never pushed Aizawa to reveal much as information because despite secrets, they love each other no matter what, and he was choking on his tea when he hear Aizawa was going to bring him to a trip to his parents during summer break.

Despite the student's training, they managed to find a gap for themselves and Aizawa thought it be nice to bring him, since his parents were really persistent in him getting married and all, he never told them he was dating All Might, so they were in for a surprise. He remembered how excited his mother was when he told her he met someone, thankfully they never judged based on his sexuality.

He then could hear his father getting excited that he thought he was going out with Zashi since the two are so close to the hip that people tend to misunderstood their friendship to a relationship but Zashi was unfortunately straight and he was with Nemuri now but Shou told him that it was not Zashi and that sets out their curiosity, totally according to plan.

It took them a 2 day trip to drive to Shouta's hometown, he asked Toshi to stay in the car for now until he called him, Toshi smiled but he was pretty nervous, "Hey, everything will be alright, they will love you".

He got out, knocked the door and his mother opened it. "Oh my, it's my son! You really do look like your father with that hair, but tired face is from me",

Shou rolled his eyes, "Thanks mum". She looked around, "So, where is he?". Shou then signalled him to come out. Shou watched her every second watching Yagi grabbing their bags and head to the door, stood very, very tall.

"Um, Shouta? Is that..All Might?"

"Nice to meet you Mrs Aizawa. You could call me Toshinori Yagi. Toshi for a nickname". He put out his hand to shake the person who have brought Aizawa to this world, what he didn't expect was she hugged him instead, "Oh my, you are very tall, come in come in, Shouta, your father must be at the backyard playing with the cats".

If Shouta had cat ears, it would perk up and he just zoomed there. "Married the man who love cats really brings that out, oh my, I'm still shocked over the fact my son is dating All Might, Oops, Toshi right?"

"Yeap".

"Okay Toshi, you can just sit by the living room, I'll get you some tea, Shouta did tell me earlier that his boyfriend prefers tea, I'm glad I wasn't the only one drinking tea in this family, believe me, Shouta and his father, coffee all the time".

"That's what I've been telling him, he drinks coffee for like I don't know in the first few hours of him at UA". Toshi settled down by the living room, it was like a modern but traditional type of house, make sense where the minimalistic attitude came from.

There were few framed pictures of Shouta with Zashi in UA, and the third person must be Oboro, he didn't talk a lot about him since he and Zashi found out about him being Kurogiri. There were also pictures of him wearing his hero suit and capture weapon.

"Here you go darling".

"Thank you very much". He blew the steam off and sipped few times, realizing it was so good that he couldn't stop drinking it. "Oh this tastes great!". She smiled as she took her own drink, "So, how is my son like to you?"

"Umm.."

"Just lay it all on me, don't have to hold back". Toshi gulped but he knew what he was going to say anyways.

"Despite being all seriousness, but when we're alone, he showed his soft side, he always being all strict to the kids in class but he really cared for them and love them, he would protect them that sometimes he worries me, that he chose them over his own life, but I swore to him that I will protect him even if I'm not All Might".

She smiled, "that's all I needed to hear, I know you're the right one for him, even if we thought Zashi would be the one". They shared few laughs and over some stories of Shouta's childhood, and when she point out that one time Shouta was so afraid of Toshi when he was a child because of him being tall and big. Toshi laughed so hard that he coughed out blood, "Oh please excuse me, I would like to point out that my health isn't as a normal person would".

"It is alright, it's what heroes would get into anyway".

"Ah, so this is the man that my son is boning over".

"DAD!". Shouta came in with an elderly male, he was almost as Shouta's height but shorter, grey hair, long, almost the same as Shouta if he grow old. Toshi wanted to get up but his father hugged him immediately, "If you want to call me sir, no need, call me dad already, when's the wedding?"

Both Toshi and Shou's face went all red. "My apologies, my name is Hiro Aizawa and that is my lovely wife, Aimi Aizawa".

"Dear, this is Toshinori Yagi, All Might, could you believe it? Our son is dating All Might!". Shou groaned as he took a sit next to Toshi, wanting to hide his blush but Yagi just smiled over how cute he looked. They had lunch after wards, Yagi really made most of the meals, they took note of his injury and limited eating habits, they were really impressed over his cooking. They shared stories on the table as well, from both sides, Toshi telling how good it feels to have a family and treating Toshi like their own really send warm feelings to their heart.

Soon, it was Hiro giving the fatherly talk, he knew regardless how good Toshi is, hew knew his son deserves better and Toshi stood up to that, everything he said on the table was genuine and he will keep his promise no matter what. Shouta would look back at him adoringly. They were proud indeed, the ngiht then, they were watching a family movie when Shouta's mom just notices the scar under his eye, "Shouta? Isn't that your scar from saving the kids?"

Toshi gulped, his mind suddenly went back to USJ, "Yeah". He looked at Toshi, who was started to shake over the memories he had to endure. "It's okay, everyone was safe, Toshi saved me, like a knight in shining armor he was".

"Toshi, I'm sorry, I did not mean to bring it up".

Toshi shook his head, "I'm so sorry I wasn't there fast enough! I should have been there! I..". The family of three began worrying, as they tried to comfort Toshi right now, they didn't to brought it up, "Toshi, listen to me, it's okay, look at me, baby? Look at me, I'm okay, thanks to you, you heard what mum said, it's what heroes had sign up for, without scars from battles, you can't be proved you were a hero remember? It's okay".

"I'm so sorry honey, listen to me, you heard him, you saved my son, you saved everyone all these years, we watched your battle during Kamino, and we never gave up hope despite the sacrifices that had to be done".

"That's right son, it's time for others to help you, you have been our ray of hope all these years, we are safe because of you, even if you weren't there, but your presence felt us protected".

Toshi stopped shaking as he looked up at all of them and SHouta was the first to hug him tight, knowing they need each other right now, and that was enough, he feel like this is the family he could have wanted in his life, he had lost so many people in his life and this, he had no intentions of letting this family go.
