Ezra's POV
I heard his knock twice, "Ezra." He called. He knocked again, "Ezra, are you okay? You've been there for a while."
I am still panicking of course, in my mind. Nakaupo lang ako sa toilet bowl (of course the lid is down) at halos sabunutan ko nang tuluyan ang sarili ko kanina. Mabilis parin ang tibok ng puso but not the same as before.
I cleared my throat for a calmer tone, "uh yeah, just a minute!"
"I was worried, akala ko hindi ka sasagot."
"I'm fine, Ezekiel!" Tumayo kaagad ako, binalik sa dati ang inidoro. Tumingin ako sa salamin para obserbahin ang sarili, inayos ko pa ang buhok kong nagulo ko kanina.
Once I feel confident to display myself to others once again, I opened the door and immediately saw Ezekiel in front of me.
"You sure you're okay?" He asked once again.
"Yes," sagot ko lang habang nakatingala sakanya.
He narrowed his eyes at me, trying to see something in me. And then in a weak tone volume, he asked, "is it a number two?"
I just elbowed him which made him grunt and didn't wait for him to walk, nauna na ako, narinig ko ang mahina niyang tawa at sumunod sakin.
"Ah, Ezra, sweetie! Are you okay? Nag alala kami kaya pinuntahan ka na ni Ezekiel.." bungad agad sakin ni Mama Alice nang makabalik ako.
I smiled at her, "ah, yes.. yes, I'm fine. I think it's just.." I looked at Ezekiel who walked to sit beside me, "..cramps." I reasoned sloppily.
"Oh, okay! I completely understand! Do you need help?"
"No, Mama, I'm fine!" I smiled at her again, medyo nahihiya sa rasong pinili kong sabihin sakanila ngayon.
"Umm, I think it's better for me and Ezra to go home, I think she should rest more.." sabi agad ni Ezekiel kaya lumingon kami sakanya.
"Right, sige, umuwi na kayo ni Ezra.." si Papa.
Tumayo na si Ezekiel sa gilid ko at hinarap ako para ata alalayan akong makatayo narin.
"If you have any complications, don't hesitate to tell me, mija, ha? I'll help you as much as I can!"
Tumayo na ako kaagad dahil medyo nakakahiya na talaga pag usapan 'to sa harap ng mga lalaki, inalalayan ako ni Ezekiel sa siko. "Umm, opo! Uh," I looked at both of them, "it was nice seeing you again, Ma, Pa.."
"Nice to see you too!"
"We missed you both!"
"Tulak na po kami, Papa, Mama.." he didn't let go of supporting me on the elbow.
I smiled at the married couple again, "salamat po uli.."
"Ingat kayo!"
We then walked back inside our car and he drove us home.
Tahimik lang ako sa kalahati ng byahe namin, tahimik din naman siya pero alam kong pinapakiramdaman nanaman niya ako. Tanging ang ingay lang ng radyo ang bumabalot samin.
Until he strike a conversation, "are you going to work tomorrow?"
"Yes, but I think half day lang ako."
He nodded, "yeah, para hindi ka mabigla."
"Also I'm going to see my friends.."
I felt him glanced at me kaya tiningnan ko narin siya. "Really?"
