Ezra's POV
He really didn't see me for long.
I didn't see his figure, let alone his shadow, in my environment for so many months. Dapat wala akong pakialam, boys do not take my attention, I give my attention willingly to them. Kaya dapat wala akong pakialam dahil same case lang dapat si Danilo sakanila.
But you see, I know it's not the same case to others for him. Hindi maiiwasang fiancee ko siya in the future, kapag maayos na kaming napakilala. So, his case is really different from others.
Pero wala dapat akong pakialam kung wala siya ng ilang buwan, kasi alam kong babalik siya dahil required nga dahil sa arrangement namin.
So, why am I so pissed off everytime I think of his absence?
"Tara nga, sugurin natin Cafe Nectar, surpresahin natin si utol Alegre!" Anyaya ni Hugo samin nang matapos na yung klase.
Tumango ako, "game ako, I don't want to go home this early anyway."
"Ako rin game ako! Pahirapan natin si Alegre, hahaha!" Si Bri.
"Ay, we have the same mind talaga, Sabrina Delgra, apir tayo!" Nag apir sila ni Hugo. "Dito lang kayo, sunduin ko lang si Amora sa building nila!" He sprinted away from us.
Me and Bri are left alone together near the gate. We were quiet but it's comfortable naman.
But it later became uncomfortable when I noticed her strange movements. She glances at me from time to time, her body is hindi mapakali. Sinusulyap-sulyapan ko rin siya, I also noticed how she's playing with her fingers.
I grunted, "oh, God, okay. You win. The car I entered into belonged to the guy I made out with the past few months—"
"I knew it!" She pointed at me, her eyes and smile wide. Binaba na niya yung kamay niya, "so what is this? Serious? Kayo na?"
"Umm, we're not totally like girlfriend and boyfriend. We're just.. banging each other casually."
"Like.. na.. kayo lang exclusively?"
"I think so, making out with each other exclusively."
"That's like boyfriend and girlfriend na in our own scale—"
"It's not."
"It is—"
"It is not."
She chuckled, "okay, bahala ka.." of course she won't be convinced.
Sakto namang bumalik na si Hugo kasama si Amora, and together, we entered Hugo's car; mabuti naman at gamit niya yung kotse ngayon at hindi yung motor niya, paniguradong magco-commute kami ni Brina niyan.
Because Hugo prioritizes Amora first, just like Alegre prioritizes Sabrina.
I don't really have any bitter feelings about diyan. It's true naman na mas naunang nagkakilala sila Alegre at Bri, and si Hugo at Amora. I just entered their circle a bit late, and I don't have any negative emotions about that as we all love and support each other fairly now.
Though hindi naman ako totally hindi pina-prioritize, as I've said, we all love each other equally. And close na close naman talaga kami ni Brina, and she prioritizes me as much as she prioritizes Alegre.
Maybe, in time, someone will prioritize me, unlike no other.
Sa labas palang ng Cafe Nectar, kitang-kita na namin si Alegre na nagwe-wait ng tables, mabilis din ang mga kilos niya, in fairness, ha.
