Ezra's POV
"Hi!" I greeted, "Elijah.. right? It says here in his contacts."
He didn't speak for a moment, [Christ, are you another one of Basti's whores?]
My eyebrows twitched. What did this guy call me?
I forced a laugh, "no, I just called to tell you he's very drunk.. I was thinking someone could pick him up."
I heard him mutter several curse words. I thought he was a foreigner friend of Sebastian but I just heard him mutter one of many Filipino classic curses.
[Where are you?] He said after obviously calming himself, judging by his tone.
"Garden of Hesperides, it's right by—"
[I know. I'll be there in five.] And then he hung up the phone.
I just dropped Sebastian's phone while my lips parted a bit. That guy! He's so rude!
I just stayed with Sebastian because I can't just leave him in this state. Sa malayo ay tanaw ko si Alegre na nag aalaga naman ngayon sa lasing na si Bri, sleeping on his thighs.
Halos matawa ako. Well, I guess this is still memorable as his first time, right?
I waited for a few minutes. I sometimes tap Sebastian's back as his face rests on the table, I sometimes glance at him too, medyo cute siya habang natutulog.
Imposibleng wala 'tong girlfriend, with his appearance, girls will flock over him, mas lalo na't med student siya.
But then I guess, it's true that he doesn't have one too, or at least, a serious one, since busy nga naman talaga ang schedule pag med student ka.
Medyo nawala lang sakanya ang atensyon ko nang may mapansin ako mula sa malayo.
A tall guy, good built, in his uniform, looking in all corners as if looking for something.
This must be.. Elijah?
I raised my hand, in case he'll notice me. He looked and immediately walked to us.
Tumigil siya malapit samin at nakatingin lang kay Sebastian, I saw how he clenched his jaw in.. I guess, irritation?
I stood up to properly greet him, "hi!"
He glanced at me once and looked back at Sebastian again.
My smile vanished a bit.
I guess it's my turn to feel what Sabrina felt earlier, huh?
"Did you drug him?"
"Excuse me?"
He looked back at me again, medyo suplado talaga. "This guy doesn't get drunk that easily and this early. You must've done something to him."
That ticked me off. "Malalasing talaga siya kung inom siya nang inom kanina. I thought he really wanted to get drunk."
"And you let him? Were you planning something, then?"
Hindi makapaniwala akong tumawa, "if I was planning something to him, I wouldn't have called your stupid ass!"
His lips parted a bit, mukhang nagulat sa sigaw ko sakanya. Buti nga! I don't tolerate stupid asses!
"And kaano-ano mo ba siya? With your personality, I wouldn't trust you with him."
He chuckled darkly, "hindi ba sa pagitan natin, ikaw ang mas hindi mapagkakatiwalaan?"
