"why the fuck we on pause jah?" makayla complained as she rolled her eyes. the screen for jahzell then went off of pause and it showed him in his house getting his hair braided.
"damn ian know y'all wanted to watch me get my shit braided," he replied. his eyes were stained a dark red indicating that he was high as fuck.
lewis, makayla, jahzell, elijah, and i were all on group facetime. makayla was laying in her bed with the covers up to her ears, lewis had his phone propped up so we can watch him make something in the kitchen, elijah also had his phone propped up as he played 2k, and i just laid in my bed.
"so y'all," lewis said looking into the camera. "it's officially summertime bitches. what we gonna be doing?"
"not a mothafucking thing. my parents are so strict, they not finna let me do shit," makayla answered before she groaned.
"that's tough," elijah told her, laughing. jah laughed as well.
"it's not funny," makayla whined.
"but it is tho," elijah replied, winking.

"y'all are so annoying. shut the hell up," lewis laughed.
"who is y'all?" i questioned, furrowing my eyebrows.

"shut up nigga, always saying something," jahzell replied, rolling his eyes. "we should go to jay's crib tomorrow. him and his sister are gonna cook and have a small get together,"
"oh yeah, i'm definitely in. that's free food right there," elijah said, nodding his head and smiling, showing off his blue braces.
"on me, finna bring about 4 plates home afterwards," i stated making them all laugh.
"nah for real. them folks know how to cook some bomb ass ribs and gumbo," lewis chimed in.
"what time tomorrow? cause i gotta get my hair done at 1," makayla asked.
"lashanti said it's at 7 pm, but knowing me i might be a lil late," jahzell answered.
"'lil late' nigga last time we went somewhere you was an hour late. stop the cap," elijah laughed.
