He just shuck his head, unable to articulate his emotions in as far as words. The rest of them sat silently as he began to slowly release his tears. "T...they hate me." Jake sobbed as Adam pulled him into a side hug.
The two held each other for a while until, Stacy joined in, dragging Laurie with her. "We're so proud of you JJ. And we love you no matter what." She assured her friend. He sniffed slightly, "thank you." He said softly.
"Wanna blow this party?" Asked Quinn with a sympathetic smile as she and Vic joined the hug.

Jake nodded gently as Adam cupped his cheek. Gently.
The two other boys both gave him gentle bro-hugs and then the eight of them grabbed their jackets and bags and bid a kind farewell to Jake's brothers before they left. Jake ignoring his upset looking mother and disgruntled father, who Adam made sure to flip off before he pulled Jake to his side.
Jake told the group about a small forest clearing he used to go down to when he was sad. It was near his home on the outskirts of the small Muggle village.

The group soon found it and within an hour they were all sat up against trees on sprawled out on the grass laughing away their cares as a group.
Adam sat with Jake between his legs, leaning on his chest as he leaned against a tall oak tree. He wrapped his arms around Jake's shoulders as the smaller boy slowly rubbed his arm.

He whispered sweet nothings to the glum looking boy in an attempt to comfort him.
"Hey J, who needs em." Hollered Stacy as she stood near the couple. Laurie stood in front of her, leaning on an old fence post as Stacy hugged her from behind.

Adam smiled at the girl thankfully as Jake released a soft chuckle.
"Yeah JJ. You have us. We'll be your family." Said Vic making them all nod. Jake smiled, "thanks guys."
Dan, who was leaned against another tree with Vic in a similar position as Jake, spoke next, "yeah man we all love you for who you are and if they can't fuck em." "Yeah fuck em." Jake agreed his face brightening considerably.
Vic leaned up and kissed Dan's cheek 'well done' for cheering Jake up.

"On the bright side. At least we don't have to deal with them showing up and making everyone uncomfortable at functions anymore." Said Quinn making the others all laugh as she stroked Teddy's hair as his head lay in her lap and he played with bits of her hair.
