There are a lot of times where we are discouraged. And for what reason, specifically? Low reads? May nag-talk shit sa chapter mo? May nakita kang negative review ng story mo?

I get you.

I mean, how cool is that?

This is a sad reality for most aspiring writers. And even sadder kung nagpadala sila sa doubts nila at mag-move on na lang at magbago ng kanilang pangarap.

But if you're reading this, let me just tell you...

Kung masaya ka sa ginagawa mo, kung feeling mo'y hindi kompleto ang araw mo nang hindi nakapagsusulat, kung araw-araw kang binabagabag ng mga fictional characters sa utak mo at wala kang ibang magawa kundi mag-imbento ng plot, kahit pa ikawala mo pa ito ng tulog, then you are a writer. You are!

It doesn't really matter whether you are noticed now or not. Because if you're really passionate about what you're doing, there's only one end goal you're about to reach, and that's success. It's only a matter of when. So kung hindi pa ngayon ang time mo, don't be discouraged. Just read and write, read and write, hanggang sa gumaling ka na ng lubusan.

Write for yourself! Don't write and post and wait for their validation.

Remember, if you think you are a writer and you're working really hard to write, then you are. Don't mind what they say. Don't mind that inner judgmental voice inside your head.

You are a writer.
