They arrive just after breakfast. Margaret had been fed scrambled eggs for breakfast in her cage in the yard. She refused to eat them out of the 'dog bowl' so Nyqota had picked her up and fed them to her. Margaret refused to drink the water from her 'dog bowl.'
Homsel, Pombal, and Gibray excitedly go out to the yard to play with Margaret. Homsel holds onto Susie.
Margaret watches them warily as Pombal comes to open her cage door.
"Margaret, come," Pombal says gently.
Margaret goes to Pombal. "Good girl!" Pombal praises, gently taking her hand.
"Margaret Play With Ponies?" Gibray asks.
"Ponies?" Margaret asks in Nivish excitedly. "Okay!"
"Alright, I'll set up the game for her," Homsel says. He gets Margaret's virtual reality Play With Ponies game set up.
Margaret is confused as the landscape changes. She looks around, disoriented.
Gibray gently leads Margaret to the pony barn.
Margaret recognizes the barn and runs to it excitedly.
