I shifted in the woods, quickly throwing on my clothes and checking my texts. 

                          
From: Renee: We made it home.

                          
I was instantly filled with relief. I always worried I'd lose Hazel. I'd already lost so much, I couldn't handle it if I lost her.

                          
I entered the doors of Haven, coming right across an exhausted Isabella. "Oh, hey," the dark haired girl greeted, pushing her glasses up her nose and giving me a brief wave.

                          
Ever since the girl had challenged our care for the wolves outside our pack walls, we'd had a very... strained relationship. 

                          
But she'd apologized and admitted she was wrong with honor, and I respected her for that, as well as everything she'd been through and done in the name of good.

                          
"Where's Sarah?" I asked.

                          
"I see who's the favorite," Isabella joked sarcastically, but she pointed down the hall. "She's in the mission room. The briefing starts in ten minutes."
