Chapter 24- Confrontation with Rachel

Brianna's point of view

"W-what?" Xavier spluttered in shock and I rolled my eyes a little.
"Don't roll your eyes at me young lady," he growled a little and I just sent a him sheepish smile. I drew in a big breath and let it out.
"I want to visit Rachel." I spat out her name like venom.
"May I ask why the hell you think I'd let you do that?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him.
"Because I'm gonna end this looming thought once and for all. Now," I stepped closer but felt Ace hold me in place by my forearms.
"You can either take me to her or I will find out myself and trust me," I poked his chest with my finger.
"I will find her." I growled and he glared at me.

"Brianna calm down, you haven't been taken your meds so your blood pressure could drop even more if you get too stressed." Ace pleaded and I ignored him.
"She has no business with you so why are you so worked up on talking with her?" He questioned.
"Because she still gave birth to me and I want to set the record straight because I can't get the f*cking idea of her loving me even a little bit out of my mind!" I growled out and gripped my hair.
"Please," I whimpered
"I need to hear it from her straight so these hopes can just go away."

After a few seconds of us just glaring at each other he sighed and gave in.
"Fine! I don't like it but I'll take you." He groaned and I just smiled.
"Thank you." I whispered and started to stretch as all the 5 nighters I've pulled through suddenly comes back at me like a tsunami and my vision went completely black while my body became so light I felt like I wasn't in it anymore.

I could barely register the shouts of surprise from the people in the room as I could just barely feel myself collapse on the floor.

After a few seconds I could feel the weight of my body again and started blinking rapidly and my vision started coming back slowly. I shook my head a little and looked around to see myself laying on the floor with Ace holding my back and Xavier supporting my head.
"How'd I get like this?" I asked in confusion. Xavier just sighed and gently lifted me onto my feet. I staggered a little but managed to stand still with a little help of Ace.

I heard tiny barks and looked up to see Mika at the edge of the table trying to find a way to get down. She whimpered and decided to jump right onto the floor.
"Woah!" I exclaimed and managed to catch her before she fell completely flat on her head.
"Mika!" I scolded and she whined before licking my face and squirming to get even closer. I laughed and rubbed her behind her ears.
" I can't stay mad at you can I you spoiled brat." I laughed and hugged her even closer.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you for so long baby," I kissed her lightly and she returned it with vigorous licks as I giggled.

"Alright Brianna," I heard Xavier call out and I turned towards him while petting Mika behind her ears.
"Let's make a deal. I'll take you to Rachel," he started and I nodded while stepping closer.
"AFTER you've eaten, taken your meds and slept." He ended.
"What?!" I shouted and stepped back while Mika started barking. I patted her to calm down.

"Why?" I whined a little even though I know the exact reason.
"Because your blood pressure is incredibly low and even more stress from seeing her will make it even worse. Plus, you haven't slept nor eaten in 5 days. So until you eat, sleep and have taken your meds, I'm not taking you anywhere." I growled and glared at him.
"Glare at me all you want but I'm not taking you anywhere till you've done what I've asked." He told me in a firm tone and there was no point in trying to argue with him. I can feel my belly rumbling and I start swaying as the tiredness comes over me.
