As I approached the bus stop for school, I remembered I had to buy some new clothes for my interviews coming up.

"Hey, Cam."

"Sup," he said.

"I was wondering if you'd want to go to the mall with me after school today? I need to pick up some stuff," I said.

"Oh, yeah sure!"

I smiled. He was really a great best friend.

School was pretty boring, nothing exciting really happened.

I walked out of the gate, and there Cam was, talking with some girl. I think her name was Chelsea. She was really pretty, but she had this personality where I didn't know exactly whether I liked it or not. I don't know.

I walked over to them. "Hey guys, what's up?"

Chelsea looked over at me, but then looked back to Cam. "Ready to go, Cam?"

"Wait, what?" I said. Wasn't he going shopping with me?

"Um, sorry Ash. I actually have to work on an english project with Chels. How about we go tomorrow, instead?" Cam said.

"Oh, uh sure. Of course. But, I think I'll go today. I want to make sure I have time to try them on and all that. You guys have fun on your project!" I said, and smiled.

"Thanks, Ash. You're the best. See you tomorrow!" Cam said, hugging me.

Chelsea, on the other hand, just had this strange smile on her face, but it sure didn't look like a nice one. Scratch what I had said before...I don' think I liked her personality. As much as I didn't like how she stole Cam today. But then again, I didn't want to be selfish. It was just a project...right? And Cam could have other friends right? It's not like it was anything more...wait what?! Why would I even care if it was?

Did I like Cam?

What am I even thinking????
