♡ Part 15: lesson learned ♡

sasuke: naruto did

ino: naruto where is forehead

naruto: oh she just... well actually i don't know

ino: i'm heading to her place after school, wanna come sasuke?

sasuke: i.. can't

naruto looked over to sasuke and noticed that for the first time in forever, he seemed a bit upset. and it was different than his usual, emotionless look. there was actually sadness this time

naruto: yeah he can't go because we have practice, right sasuke

sasuke: hn

their class ended and the students started to leave, but sasuke stayed back and kakashi noticed

kakashi: you should get to your next class sasuke, orochimaru is a scary teacher when he's mad.

sasuke loved kakashi sensei but he felt that there was something that happened that he had to know

sasuke: is sakura okay

kakashi looked at him and gently smiled under his mask

kakashi: don't feel too guilty, it's not you

sasuke: both you and naruto said that... but i don't feel like it's true... and i don't need you to make me feel better

kakashi chuckled and walked over to the subtly sad sasuke and sat across from him

kakashi: cold as always

sasuke:....

kakashi: you know that i'm like her father right?

sasuke nodded his head

kakashi: i will tell you this because you're her friend and she trusts you, and so you should know a thing or two about her. 

kakashi yawned and got himself comfortable

kakashi: if you're gonna skip class, you might as well be comfortable

sasuke smirked and got comfortable as well. this is why kakashi was his favourite teacher. he didn't hold a grudge against him, and he seemed fairly calm

kakashi: her parents were leaving her with me. this was 5 years ago. before they left, they told her many things and made sure she understand why they said those things. one of the millions of things they told her was to not get into a relationship in highschool

sasuke: but wh--

naruto came in breathing heavily

kakashi: -sarcastically annoyed- not anther one

naruto closed the door behind him and sat down

naruto: not you too sensei.. anyways i got yelled at by orochimaru-sama because of you sasuke

sasuke smirked but looked back at kakashi

sasuke: but sensei....

kakashi: they said that because they didn't want sakura getting into something unnecessary. and they wanted to protect her from being hurt.

sasuke:.....

kakashi: they entrusted me to take care of her, but this is the one rule i'm not so serious about

naruto: why sensei?

kakashi: she is the only girl your age that i've seen who knows her whereabouts. she isn't the type to get herself into something that could possibly hurt her, which is why i'm not mad you. she is a lot smarter and stronger than any of you can see. 

sasuke: so you're saying you trust her with me because you think that she thinks that i won't hurt her

kakashi: i never said that, in fact, i don't even know how you feel about her, or how she feels about you

sasuke thought to himself... but he still couldn't come to a decision on how he felt about her

kakashi: and by the look on your face, you still don't know either

naruto: wow sensei, you're pretty smart... even for a guy who reads jirayas novels

even through his mask, they could tell their sensei was blushing

sasuke got up and was about to leave

kakashi: one more thing.... don't think of this as a pass for making her cry. just think of it as a lesson to get to know her better

he nodded his head

sasuke: thank you sensei

he left and naruto left alongside him. kakashi sighed

'one interesting situation....'

AFTER SCHOOL TO INO

hinata: i hope she's o-okay

ino: she most likely is, but we're already here, so we'll see

they knocked on her door to see a sleepy pinkette. if anything, her best friends thought she looked kinda cute

hinata: s-sakura-chan! are y-you okay

ino hit sakuras arm and went inside with hinata
