Leila's POV "Okay Nini drop it!" I scolded over the phone as I dropped my bag in the office
"Oh common!!!! I need details!!!! Is he hot? On a scale of Captain America to Aquaman.... how hot is he?" She asked and I felt the heat on my cheeks
"If I tell you, would you let me get back to my work?"
"Promise.!" She yelled excitedly through my eardrum
"Thanos!" I yelled back and ended the call... she'll have my head for this but oh well.
My phone beeps and it's a text message.. BFF: I'll kill you!
I laughed and put it on my table, leave it to Nini to implant impossible scenarios in my brain of a certain hot human species in my life...
I checked my office iPad for the schedules of the day.. I can't believe it's Friday already.... ever since Jamal found out who I was... he had been more professional towards me, always straight to the point and then he dismiss me. But i can't complain right? That's what I wanted... not to be favored, but a not so little part of me wanted more... argh... I'm crazy
I walked to his office at 7:55 as usual knowing fully well he's not in yet.. i didn't spare the couch area a glance and just hummed my way to his table, I dropped the files on the table and turned on the coffee machine humming to "Jenny of oldstone"...
"Make that coffee extra black please..." I heard and I screamed, stumbled and almost fell on my butt..

"It's okay.. I came in early to prepare for 11.." he explained as he started walking towards me slowly... uhhhh
"Right.. I'll leave you to it then... the files are all here..." I mumbled as I try to escape...
"What are my schedules today?" He asked clearly not dismissing me just yet... he sits on his chair and checked on the files
"Uh... you have an appointment with Leena at the hospital..." I swallowed... his wife perhaps... why does it sting to think about that?
"The driver will bring her here and I'll take her myself.." he stated as he scribbled on the files
Oh how adorable I wanted to say annoyingly but I don't want to loose my job.
"You have a lunch meeting with your guests from Saudi.. they just called in this morning.." I added
"No... I can't do that, I'll be occupied.. reschedule please." He said and I nodded... taking note
"Your father was invited to dinner at the president's home and he insists you go with him..." I added amusingly and he raised an eyebrow
"What's funny?" He asked
"He knows you're gonna decline, so he threatened to come and disturb you later..." I added and he smiled... wow! He actually smiled... that's a first, and it was mesmerizing...
