NOT A HALAL LOVE STORY!!! By twenty-two, Zainab Bello had perfected the art of disliking men without apology. Not quietly. Not politely. Loudly, deliberately, and with enough reasons to justify it. Men talked too much when they knew too little. They took space like it was owed to them. They listened only when it suited them. And if there was one thing Zainab was certain of, it was this: any room that required her to shrink for a man was not a room she intended to stay in. So when the white Benz scratched her car and sped off without an apology that morning, she didn't see an accident. She saw proof. NOT A HALAL LOVE STORY!!! Updates every Sunday.

Two souls adrift in the city lights-one bound by rules he mistakes for faith, the other breaking every wall to breathe. Between yellow cabs and tower rooms, between prayers whispered and paintings hidden, they collide, separate, and collide again across years and wounds. A love that cannot speak its name, a marriage offered and refused, a reunion that demands everything. In the end, they choose not the structure that imprisons, but the container that holds-two immigrants, two believers, two survivors, learning that the only rule worth following is the heart's persistence against all odds.

He was everything she shouldn't have wanted. And everything she slowly started to need. But what happens when you're not the beginning of someone's story... nor the end? Because he was still waiting for someone else. And she was just there-in between the silence, the almost, and maybe someday. When truth finally breaks through the illusion, Zafirah is forced to face the hardest reality: she wasn't the one he chose... she was the one who stayed while he was waiting. Now she has to decide- Do you hold on to a love that was never fully yours, or finally walk away from the space you were never meant to occupy?

A true-life journey of struggle, hustle, and hope. From school life in Titimet to searching for work in Kakamega and completing training at SESD, this story follows a young man chasing his dream of becoming an engineer. Chapter 2: Struggle in Kakamega After completing my studies, I thought life would quickly change for the better. I had dreams, energy, and hope. But reality was different. When I arrived in Kakamega County, I started searching for a job. I went from place to place, asking for opportunities, but most doors were closed. Life in the town was not easy. Every day felt like a battle for survival. There were moments I felt discouraged, but I reminded myself why I came there-to build a better future. Eventually, I found small opportunities and began hustling. I worked hard even when the pay was low. At one point, I earned only 4,500 per month. It was not enough, but it taught me something very important-how to survive with dignity and discipline. Even with challenges, I kept learning. I met different people, saw different lifestyles, and understood that success does not come easily. It requires patience, sacrifice, and consistency. Deep inside, I never lost my dream of becoming an engineer. Even when life was difficult, I held onto that vision. It was the only thing that kept me moving forward. Kakamega was not just a place of struggle-it was a place of learning. And I was still not done yet.

Eight years later, fate brings them face to face at a friend's engagement. What begins as a simple reunion slowly unfolds into late-night conversations, quiet understanding, and a love that grows gently - without rush, without noise. But love isn't just about finding each other. It's about healing old wounds, facing family expectations, and learning to stay when things get difficult. Some feelings wait patiently. Some confessions come late. And sometimes, the boy who loved you in silence becomes the man who finally says it out loud. © 2026. All Rights Reserved. This story is an original work of fiction. College love story filled with kind, intelligent, unproblematic friends. No family drama. Mature and open minded charecters. Depictions of alcohol and weed. No couple tropes. No cliches. Sweet, Romantic, heartfelt, hilarious. Veera is chaotic, loud, and a certified troublemaker. Her mornings used to begin with baking far too many cookies and rolling around the garden with her beloved dogs. She's never cared for societal expectations. Veera has always followed her heart, no matter how reckless the path. Rohan is disciplined, athletic, and quietly determined. His days once started with grueling physical training and drills with his cricket team. He's mature beyond his years, carrying the weight of his dreams with a quiet resolve. Kavya is poised and graceful; the princess of her family. Her mornings used to be spent reigning in her older brother's chaos, a gentle anchor in a stormy household. Ambitious yet endlessly kind, Kavya knows how to carry herself like royalty and love like a girl still full of hope. Now, on the cusp of adulthood, all three find themselves trying to forge new paths. Letting go of the innocence of adolescence, they face the messy beauty of growing up-navigating complicated feelings, fractured loyalties, and the fragile, enduring truth of love, friendship, and family. Raabta isn't just any connection; it's a fated, almost cosmic tie between souls. It's that ineffable thread that draws two people together across time, silence, distance, or even pain. A sense of knowing without speaking. Of understanding without explanation. Of belonging that doesn't demand possession.

How does someone learn to be a baby again? To walk again, to play again? And how does a princess learn to be a mother-and to be imperfect? Alex, a 21-year-old engineering student, is suddenly pulled from his world into the land of Equestria. But now, he finds himself in the body of an almost-newborn, forced to relearn everything-while his adult mind struggles to make sense of a world that doesn't follow the same rules of physics as Earth. It's not easy when your body insists on acting like an infant. Princess Celestia, a ruler who has quietly longed to hear the word "Mom," offers to help him find a way home-if such a thing is even possible. Until then, she'll take care of him. Determined not to burden her further, Alex plays the part of a normal foal, hiding his lingering awareness. Can he maintain the charade, or will his struggle reveal the truth? And as Celestia tends to him, will she discover that motherhood isn't about perfection? I wrote this fanfic based on a simple question: Why are there so many stories that approach age change with something like, "Oh, I'm a kid again... good to know" and skipping almost the entire childhood and learning process? If you're interested, follow me on a journey of learning equine biology until midnight, making sense of the magic system, reading articles about motherhood, and improving my grammar skills (English is not my native language-Spanish is-so there might be some odd phrasing. If you find any, please let me know). Cover by vanilla-chan Thank you so much, I love the cover. Thanks to Noobblue for helping me with the idea of the story. The storm hammered against the bus shelter, a rhythmic counterpoint to the frantic beat of my heart. Across from me, under the shared overhang, sat a man I'd only ever seen from afar - Denzell. A gust of wind whipped rain into the shelter, making me shiver. He looked up, our eyes meeting across the narrow space. He offered a small, hesitant smile. "Quite a storm, isn't it?" he said, his voice a low rumble that sent a surprising thrill through me. "It is," I replied, my voice barely a whisper. A warmth spread through me, a feeling that had nothing to do with the damp chill of the night. "A- ah I'm Cazziah," I said, offering my hand. "Denzell," he replied, but he didn't take my hand. it felt almost insulting that he didn't shake my hand.
