I smiled up at Kendall while I lay across her, and she looked at me and rolled her eyes "do something more productive, you're so weird" she laughed
"But I love you" I pouted
"I love you too" she said and petted my hair. Her thumb brushed across my forehead slowly and I closed my eyes while she relaxed me and let me go back to sleep. When I woke up I was cuddled into her chest and she was working on her laptop.
"Hey" I chirped and she flinched and slammed the laptop screen down
"Hey princess" she smiled
"Whatcha doing?" I frowned and looked at her suspiciously
"I'm working. But you're awake now so I've stopped"
"Why'd you close that so fast?" I asked
"Because I want to spend all the time I can with you" she said a little too sweetly "you're my precious girl"
"Mhm" I said and sat up to kiss her "wanna go cuddle in the hot tub?"
"I was thinking we could take Pablo out on a walk around the island today. We've not really done much for him on this trip, have we?"
"Are you guilt tripping me into walking the dog?"
"I am" she nodded
"At least you admit it. Sure, let's go" I said and we got dressed and wandered outside with Pablo.
"I love you princess" she sighed happily and kissed my lips when we were out of everyone's sight
"I love you more, you're my favourite human" I said
"You're just my favourite" she smiled
"Favourite what?" I asked, my head turned to one side as we came to a stop in the middle of the narrow stone path
"Just... my favourite" she said
"What were you doing on your computer earlier?"
"Like I said, I was working baby" she reminded me and put me in my place by putting her hand on my shoulder "I don't like it when you don't trust me"
"But I don't know if I can, you shut it so quickly"
"It's because I love you and I don't want you to feel like my work is more important than you, because it isn't. You're my first priority by far and your happiness is far more important than some figures to me" she said
"You're the sweetest" I blushed and she kissed my cheek
"Am I really the sweetest or are you saying that because you want something"
"What more would I possibly want than you?"
"Someone more interesting, someone who goes out more? Maybe a man?"
"No!" I scolded her for even thinking that "you're my person, you're the one I wanna be with forever, not cause you're rich, not cause you're tall and have abs, it's cause of who you are in here" I pointed to her heart
"Other side" she whispered and I quickly changed sides
"I could've meant your right lung"
"Why would you love me for my lungs, you can't have them when I die cause I smoke. I already struggle with them myself" she said and I put my hand in her pocket, but she quickly grabbed my wrists and stopped me.
"Kenny, that's a bit of a death grip" I cringed and she gently guided my hand out of her pocket.
