[OUTDATED] ☆The Caged Bird☆ Steven Universe x Siren reader

before we start! I need to warn ya.

has anyone done this before? or thought about it?

Our boy Steven Universe Beach city.

he lives around the ocean.

And what could live in/near the ocean?

a siren.

This for an interesting thing to write about.

This is gender neutral.

You're also kinda quiet.

This also isn't much of a reader-insert. There may be tidbits of episodes featured here, but not that many.

Another thing; it's set in the Future. With depressed, stressed and slightly traumatized Steven.

You're also underaged, so no romance here.

And, your humanoid, so some things might get wierd.

When you're feral, you don't have much clothing-

And another thing!

I was gonna make the reader a typical mermaid based siren with the ability to change between land and sea forms...

But then I thought about how much the reader would be on land. Would kinda defeat the mermaid purpose, wouldn't it?

Then I searched sirens and ended up getting pictures with mermaids... AND bird women.

Naturally, I was like 'why am I seeing harpies all of a sudden?'

After a brief search, I ended up with this:

Soooo, apparently in Greek mythology, they were originally depicted as avian like creatures.

Pretty cool, right?

With this info learned...

Aaand the fact that I established long ago that I do not like to work with normal...

I'm combining aqua and avian together.

You gonna be able to swim and fly like a puffin.

Alsooooo, you take the place of cactus steven; only you actually try to comfort him instead of turning against him.

But you'll see that you're gonna have the CS's speech impediment.
