Omniscient:
It's been three days since Kierra slipped into a coma. Everyday Destinee would go and visit her. The doctors would say the same thing over and over. They didn't know when she was gonna wake up and they didn't know if she was gonna make it or not.
All Destinee did was work. She just recently started her job at Walmart. Her only focus was to work hard enough to drown out any negative thoughts of Kierra.
"Destinee, you have someone here for you." Milasia said, she worked with Destinee.
Destinee brows raised in confusion. She wasn't expecting to see anyone. She hasn't even talked to anyone today for them to be randomly popping up at her job.
The first person she spotted was TJ, at this point he was starting to be annoying. He's been blowing up Destinee's phone nonstop only to not get an answer every single time.
"What do you want and why are you popping up at my job unexpected?" She asked annoyed.
She never knew that having a guy friend could be so stressful.
"What the fuck did you expect for me to do? You decline every call and don't answer texts."
"I'm not obligated to do that! Do you pay my phone bill? No, I do what the hell I want."
"Yo, why you gotta act like that? All I did was call to check up on you after the shit that was going on with Kierra."
"Okay so after you embarrassed me in front of half of the neighborhood, you want to check up on me?" She asked, she was thankful for him being worried and all but it was honestly annoying.
"I embarrassed you? Destinee look at where you live! That already gives you a bad reputation."
"And what does that mean? I guess since you're making money or should I say illegal money you feel all uppity? You can leave, I have work to do."
"Nah, that's not even what I'm saying-"
"I don't even care anymore. Didn't you say that I'm childish? That I act like a little girl?"
He didn't say anything instead he just continued to look down at her short figure.
"I annoy you right? So why exactly are you here? Because right now you're annoying me."
"Destinee, no time to chit chat. We need you." Tyler told her . She was happy that he came, he took her out of a conversation that she didn't want to be in.
"Bye TJ, I have work to do."
She walked off leaving him there dumbfounded. The whole conversation was pointless to her. He couldn't just come there and act as if he's checking on her when he never apologized for being rude.
"Tell your friend that he can't just come in here requesting to talk to you."
"I know, I'm sorry. He's annoying."
The rest of the day was very busy, it's like Walmart was the only place that everyone decides to come, rather it was for groceries or clothes.
By the end of my shift she was beat, it was going on eleven thirty at night. She was ready to get home, take a nice shower and go straight to bed.
"How was your first day at work?" Her mother asked as she settled in the car.
"It was okay. Walmart was busy like always."
"As long as you don't have to deal with anyone disrespecting you. I'll be down to Walmart fast."
"I know you will."
