Pretending. It's such a funny thing.
Me and Adam and Ryan made a song about it. Well, not just us, but you get the point. Our entire family is good at it. Except for Ava and Sammy. They have nothing to pretend about. But the rest of us do. Me, Emma, Adam, Mackenzie and Ryan have to hide the secret and pretend everything is okay. That nothing is wrong. Apparently we're doing a horrible job at it, since Winter is getting suspicious. I can tell, even though he hasn't said anything to Ryan. He doesn't have to say it. Even Ryan himself can tell. He obviously wants to know about his mom. I can see why.
Ryan has been keeping quiet for a while now. So I keep on asking to speak for him, but he shakes it off and says, "Quit stressing me out! I'll do it later!" And he simply just walks away.
It's not fair. Not on me. Or Adam. Or Mac. Or Emma. We have to shut up about the entire situation, when Winter wants to know. It's not fair on him, either. This is all Ryan's fault. I'm not even gonna ask him. I'm gonna tell Winter. He's gonna find out the secret.
