I sat at my bake sale, hoping someone would come to buy something. I had cinnamon rolls, brownies with cinnamon, regular brownies, snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies, and many other delicious desserts.
I lived in New Rome, and I was raising money to build a preschool.
I saw people come and go. A few people stopped and bought something, but not really enough to make a difference.
When I was thinking of giving up, a Cyclops and a harpy walk up.
"Cinnamon?" the harpy asks.
"Almost everything has cinnamon." I say.
"Cinnamon is good for Ella." the Cyclops asks.
After a discussion and negotiation, the two have bought many of the bake sale items.
I also found out the two are named Tyson and Ella.
I thank them and they walk off.
When I count the money I've earned, I realize that it's more than enough.
Those two were extremely nice and adorable.
