Chapter Eight: Jennie, My Wife

"I-I am sorry madam. Here's your bill and I will just ask someone to give your orders." The girl is scared of my wife.

We sat near the window and I tease Jennie.

"Hey, you're so rude. You scared the girl back there." I said.

"Then go to her and eat breakfast with her." I laugh at what she said.

Is she jelly?

"Are you jealous wifey?"

"N-no I'm not." She said and look the other way.

"It's okay Nini. You don't need to be jealous. I'm all yours. I'm your wife you know." I said.

She glared at me.

"You know. I love it when you are angry." I said.

She was about to say something when someone placed our orders on our table.

I look at the server and he's literally looking at my wife.

"If you need anything just call me ma'am." He said and wink at Jennie.

The heck!!

"We don't need you. Now shoo! My 'wife' is hungry. We need to eat." I said full of annoyance.

The boy looks shocked and leave.

"You know, you're rude." She said and giggled.

After the nightmare thing, she became more comfortable with me. She let me see her gummy smile, her laugh, and her talkative self.

"Pshhh. He's flirting with you Nini." I said.

"Are you jealous?" Didn't I just ask her that a while ago?

"What if I am?" I said confidently.

She looks shocked before she answered

"You don't need to, I'm all yours. I'm your wife anyway."

"Did you just repeat what I said earlier?"

"Did I?"

"Stop it Nini." I said and pout.

"Stop pouting, you look like a monkey and a duck."

"Now your being savage, Nini." I said and eat.

"Hey, I was just joking." I didn't say anything.

"I'm sorry. Are you angry at me? Sorry. I won't do it again." Eh?

This is what I hate about my Nini. She easily gives up. She thinks that everything she does is not right.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because you don't want it?" She said.

"And who said that?" I ask and drink my hot choco.

"Well, you didn't say it but I think you express it?" She said not being sure again.

"Hey, it's okay. You know, I like it when you talk to me like that. I know you are happy." I said.

"Am I really happy?" She asks me.

"A little. I promise to make you happy always Nini." I said

She smiles at me and we continued to eat. After eating, we got out and I drive to my office.

Reaching the office, I park my car at my usual spot and when I got out, I go to the other side to open the door for my Nini.

She said thank you and I walk inside the building holding Jennie's hands.

Every employee we passed by greeted me and I just smile to greet them back.

Everyone was staring at My Nini and at our holding hands.

Getting in the elevator, I heard Jennie sighed.

"You okay?" I ask worriedly.

"Yes, I'm okay." She said.

"You sure?" I ask again.

"Yes Lili I'm all good."

I nodded and we waited for the elevator to stop at the highest floor.

Reaching my floor I drag Jennie out of the elevator and Seulgi greeted us.

"Wazzup Monkey! Hi Jen! Why are you here?"

"Hi, Lisa just want me to come with her." Jennie said.

"Oww, the Monkey doesn't want to be away from her wife." Seulgi teased.

I literally blush in front of my best friend!

"Yah! Stop teasing! What's my sched for today, bear?" I ask as we walk inside my office.

"Well, you have a meeting with all the head department in 5 minutes. And a meeting with Mr. Yung at 3 pm." She said.

"Nice, I don't have so much to do." I said and look at my Nini who's looking around.

"Yeah, just follow at the conference room and by the way, Jisoo unnie is back from LA." She said and I nodded.

As she goes out of my office I ask Jennie.

"Does my office look nice?"

She nodded as an answer.

"Let's go." I said.

"Where?"

"Conference room. I have a meeting."

"I'll just stay here." She said.

"No, you'll come with me." I said.

I look at her and her eyes is saying she's... Afraid.

Did I scare her?

"O-okay Lisa." She looks down.

"Did I- did I scare you?" I ask.

She didn't move nor said anything.

"I'm sorry Nini." I said and kiss her forehead.

"You can stay here." I said.

"I-I'll just go with you." She said.

I nodded and we go out of my office.

Why does  he need to treat Jennie like that? I hate him for making My Nini like these.

I hold Jennie's hand. She looks at me and I smile and she gives me her gummy smile.

I really love her smile.

We reach the conference room and when Jisoo Unnie saw Jennie she shouted.

"Jenduek!!!"

While the head departments stand up and greet me.

"Good morning too everyone. Sorry for keeping you wait. Before we start, I want you all to meet Jisoo's sister, Jennie, My Wife."
