There i was, seated for my funeral service.

My pictures hung all over the place.

I watched the guests move forward one by one to drop a flower on the corpse. I watched how some cried in pity, while others just shook their heads. I saw some go to the back of the room whispering, that I deserved to die.

Then it was Sophia's turn, who I would like to declare my ex best friend. She walked hand in hand with my husband, comforting him.

The only people I had in this world after my father's death. The only two people I had after I was convicted a criminal for killing my father.

They hooked up just 3 months after I allegedly died in a bomb attack while in police custody.

I sat and watched helplessly on the wheel chair as they both walked up front to pray for my soul to rest in peace. Pathetic.

"Rose, come on. Let's go pay our respects to Eve." I simply nodded and Marc pushed my wheel chair towards the front. We both placed our flowers on the coffin and paused to pray.

I only closed my eyes for a while and opened them to look at Marc who was standing next to me.

If only he knew i was actually Eve.

If only he knew i was an Impostor.

If only he knew the real Rose, his wife, was the one lying in the coffin.

After Marc went back to his seat, I still remained there, mourning Rose. Somehow I felt responsible for it, not only did i cause her death, I pushed her into it and now I was living her life. A feeling of pain and guilt hit me to the deepest part of my soul. "There was nothing I could do, the situation was so complicated. I did it to save myself, i was selfish. I'm sorry Rose." I whispered in tears.

"It was not your fault." A familiar voice said from behind me. It was my real husband's voice, Henry. For a moment I was stunned, thinking he had heard me. "It was fate. You don't need to be hard on yourself. Eve wouldn't want that. She always wanted the best for everyone. She will forever be in our hearts."

I just stared at him with teary eyes. I missed him so much. His scent, his face, the way he made me laugh, I missed being with him, i missed our home, I missed everything. I was about to speak when Sophia approached him.

"Henry, some of Eve's business partners just arrived and they are asking of you."

"Ok, I'll look into it." Henry said and walked away with Sophia. Though there was last minute tension between Sophia and I before she left with him. I couldn't believe my best friend would do such a thing to me. In just three months, she was determined to replace me.

It's a good thing i didn't die. I'm alive for one purpose.

Revenge.
