Chapter 30: Arc 2!!!

A group of officer with light blue coat came to check what's happening and a man in dark hair stepped forward then squatted close to the girl, reaching out his hand to feel the girl's breathing.

"Is my young miss going to be alright?!" the maid asked. She turned to look at the officer checking her young mistress and she was shock to see how handsome he is. Such perfect features and his dark hair turned blue as sunrays laid their warmth while his mismatched pair of eyes were unique, red and purple.

The man did not speak then retracted his hand away from the girl as he shook his head. But before he could even declare the girl's death, it surprisingly gasped for air as her eyes open wide.

Yun Ren Xie gasped for air, her lungs were quite stuffy. She looked around her to see many people gathering about while there is a young girl weeping beside her and she seems to be only fourteen, there is also a man in blue coat, looking at her with a slight furrowed brow. What just happened?

She looked straight to the man's gaze and she knew who he is. "Naito Hayato?!" Yun Ren Xie blurted out. She quickly covered her mouth, Naito Hayato was Hijikita Toushirou's other name and only few people knew about it. Right, the man in front of her is the second male lead of her Japanese-based manga, Hijikita Toushirou who eventually formed a feeling for Okoto but their relationship failed easily for he sought power yet its still not enough.

Hijikita's face became expressionless as he stood up and reached out his hand for the girl. Yun Ren Xie hesitated for a bit then she is about to hold onto his hand when the original Soma's memory entered her which hurt too much. Her hand freezed then she held her head as she hissed from the pain. Yun Ren Xie nearly cursed but held it inside.

"Miss S-Soma?" the maid asked but her name is actually, Ishi.

"Im fine. My head just hurt a bit." she faintly smiled then stood up on her own.

"Take your master to a shed and watch her out. You've caused a ruckus here." Hijikita said before turning back.

Yun Ren Xie dusted herself then looked at Hijikita. Year 1863, the male lead is about to appear and it was today, Saito Hajime would also be the first person who he will get close with. She remembered writing a past of the male lead who is actually Soma Kaozue, he tried making Saito an easy going person but he failed and found it funny. Kaozue and the female lead's first meeting is during the Ikedaya Inn Incident and she was a guest that time then Kaozue kept on protecting her innocence.

"Host, stop standing there! The first mission have a timeline and there's only two hours left!" Baoshi's voice made Yun Ren Xie raise a brow. A timeline?

"Ishi, we came here to find big brother so we should find him before its dark!" she said and pulled her little maid as they exited the garden.

"B-but Miss Soma.... w-were not familiar here in Kyoto." Ishi stammered, she was trying not to make her master upset since she knew Soma Katsu is a childish person and its easy to trigger her emotions. Soma stopped and Ishi started to tremble, her miss must be going to make a scene again!

However, her young miss didnt wail or made a scene. Soma slowly turned to Ishi with a deep curious look. "Then... do you have any friends here so that we can ask for brother's location?"

Ishi was quiet for some time then she proudly answered her master's question. "I have a friend here who's called Sumere! Miss Soma, this friend of mine is always selling fortune tokens in front of this shrine."

*So, hehe 😎...... Ladies and gentlemen, let me present you..... Naito Hayato or his most famous name Hijikita Toushirou!

History Tip: Hijikita Toushirou is also called Vice-Demon Commander for his very strict personality. He and Kondo Isami are both ranking high in a special police force called Shinsengumi and both were also best of friends. Hijikita is said to be a playboy during his youth, he's so handsome and his hair is too dark that it turned blue once sunshine lits it. Lots of ladies were sending him love letters but some of these were used for his pranks, sending the love letters to his subordinates. Aside from being handsome and cool commander, he is also good at poetry about plums or so.
