24. Prom dress and UNO

After breakfast, when bruce and Pepper returned, Julia packed her suitcase. Her suitcase seemed ordinary unless she pressed a button, which turned it into a ball and unbreakable. Some kind of special case for space. everybody was a bit down this morning, except the brothers Odinson. MJ and Ned came over. they wanted to see Julia before she went away and to see if everyone was okay. It was time for her to go.

Bruce gave Julia a hug. "Stay safe out there." Clint was next. "It was nice having someone to talk to about archery." Natasha, Pepper and Steve all gave her a hug and said something to her. Bucky gave her a kiss on her forehead, with his eyes all watery. "I love you kiddo." Tony was next. "Thank you mr. Stark for taking me in." "Tell me one thing, that guy in the gym. Is he also an alien?" "Yes, his dad is not. He was raised by his dad. That's why he is here." "That mystery is solved." Tony hold her tightly in his arms. "Go say goodbye to your friends." He whispered in her ear before letting her go.

"I'll miss you guys." Julia did a group hug with her friends. MJ pulled away first. "It was nice to have a friend who is a girl." "Yes Ned, I'll take pictures of the weirdest aliens I can find and sent them once to you." Julia said after she saw that Ned was about to ask something. "Thank you, I'll miss you." Julia turned to Peter. He smiled longing at her. As if he was just taking her in to not forget her. He took the first step to kiss her. She pressed her forehead against his. She rubbed his tears away with her thumb. "You'll be okay." She pulled away. "After I leave I'm leaving MJ in charge of you'll idjits." MJ straightened her position. She didn't want to smile but she did. She knew she would get the change to boss around her friends, even though she already did. A hand touched her shoulder. "It's time to go."

They did one last group hug before. Julia gave om last kiss to Peter. Julia walked with Thor and Loki to a safe distance away from the rest. "Goodbye, I'll see you guys some day." Bucky stepped forward. "Wait, the football shirt and the butterfly knife. You got that from your brother. Is that true?" "Yes, my brother bought me that on our trip to Spain. Most thing I told you'll are true, I just left out the part of me being and alien." Bucky smiled at her, like he did to Steve before the war, with love. "Bye guys." Julia laid her hand on Thor his shoulder and so did Loki. Thor lifted Mjölnir and a light came.

Suddenly the trio was in a room with a guy. Thor placed Mjölnir on his shoulder. "This is Heimdall, he's the gatekeeper and the watcher of the worlds." Heimdall bowed, Julia figured out after a second that it was for Thor, and maybe for Loki. "This is Julia Scott. She's making a stop here at Asgard and meeting a friend of ours before returning home." Heimdall bowed, but not so deep for the brothers. "Lady Scott, you're welcome to stay here." "I'll bring Julia to her room." Julia looked to the Bifröst. She shuffled slowly closer to the brothers. She felt a bit uncomfortable with this world, even though she was used to new places. Thor placed his hand on her back and guided her over the Bifröst.

Thor quickly showed her her room. It was mostly gold. The room was very big, the bed looked soft, the paintings were weird, she had her own bathroom. It had a bathtub and the biggest mirror Julia had ever seen. After the room tour Thor took her and his brother to the prison chambers. There stood Carol in front of a prison. Carol didn't look life herself. She had a long dress on and a scarf draped around her. It was a whole different look of her. In the prison was The Knitter. He gave a whole speech to Carol. "Look I get it, you want to break out, take revanche, rule the worlds and probably kill people who come in your way. It's not like I haven't heard this before." The Knitter when silent. Julia approached the arguing people. Carol turned to her and saw Julia smirk at her dress. "You'll be wearing something like this tomorrow. I don't want to hear a word." "So this is what you looked like at prom." Nobody answered back. The only sound you could hear was the sound of Loki's soft chuckle.

They left The Knitter alone. Thor and Loki left to see the queen. Carol and Julia decided to play some UNO. They settled on the bedroomfloor of Julia's room. Julia hussled the cards and gave herself and Carol 7 cards. A game of her favorite card game was good for her to not think of New York. Julia bought the game when she went to London. She leaned the game to Carol and they played it a lot.

"In your face you undercooked waffle!" Carol slammed her last card on the floor. She finished Julia with her last blue card. "I'm done, it's 8 - 7 for you." Julia shoved the cards back in the box. Carol stood up. "I'm going to meet some Asgardians. I'll be back." Carol left with some weird curse words because she kept walking on fabric of her dress.

Julia took a picture out of her suitcase. A picture of her with The Avengers and her friends MJ and Ned. She crawled in her bed and curled herself into a ball. She didn't sleep much that night so she caught some sleep now. She laid the photo in the little area between her knees and head. It took a long time before she feel asleep.
