The short brunette keeps his eyes trained on the floor, fiddling with his cold fingers to distract and prevent the rising anxiety attack he feels pooling in the pit of his stomach. His ears perk up at the faint sound of the lock turning and the door opening.
Jungkook looks up from the floor, locking eyes with the taller man before him, putting on a sad smile as Jihoon stares back at him, shocked expression painting itself over his face. The younger boy feels tears well up in his eyes, staring at the man that has caused him so much pain but has opened his eyes to what love really feels like.
"P-Princess?" Jihoon whispers, lazy eyes devouring the sight of Jungkook, shivering and clearly upset. Without another thought, Jihoon wraps his arms around Jungkook and holds him because he doesn't want to let him go. "What-What are you doing here?"
Jungkook enjoys the warmth from Jihoon; the love and affection he's displaying; the care that he's showing. It reminds him of the old Jihoon and he can't express how happy he is.
"We-We can be together, Jihoon." Jungkook shakily says, finally feeling the tears start streaming down his cheeks.
Jihoon just holds him and sadly smiles.
