Samsa Gillian is not your average Starfleet cadet.
Being one of the last of an ancient race that feeds off the blood of other humanoid creatures, Samsa is desperate to escape the vicious nature of her species. So, she turns to Starfleet as a way to forget the past.
When she meets the crew of the U.S.S Enterprise, it seems she finally found a place to call home. However, with the treacherous missions they face, comes a new danger that Samsa is nowhere near prepared for.
