The crush on Sakshi made Dinesh sneak into her room now and then, also he admired her while she used to take a stroll on the terrace during morning and evening. The fight between Sakshi and Ajit took a vulgar turn with Ajit blaming Sakshi of infidelity. Sakshi could not take this blame anymore, she ran to her fathers room opened the drawer where he kept his pistol and the next minute she was the floor with her brain splattered across the bedroom of her parents.

Deekhsa saw her sister running towards their parent's bedroom, she too followed her only to witness her sister's suicide. Deeksha froze, fell unconscious  on the floor near the door. All this commotion was heard by Dinesh and the landlady too, they both came running and saw the gruesome scene.
Dinesh carried Deeksha to her room, while her mother sat there at the door and cried uncontrollably. Dinesh then called his Master Pankaj via landline that was in the living room to give him the worst news ever.

Even though Ajit was responsible for Sakhshi's death, nothing could be done to get him arrested. Whole of Mishra family mourned for the loss of their loved one mainly Deeksha who was very much emotionally close with her sister. Dinesh could do nothing, he too mourned Sakshi's death silently. He had no friend too to share his feelings right then, the only friend he ever had lived far away. So he picked up an envelope one night, wrote a long letter to Jatinder expressing how his life was turning and he did not know if the path he chose was doing any good to him or not. Expressing his feelings gave some relief to Dinesh which he later doubted whether to post it or not but somehow after a long tussle he finally posted it. Posting the letter gave him some relief. A month later Jatinder replied back which upset Dinesh, the letter was more about Jatinder's life, the difficulties he was going through, etcetera. Dinesh wanted someone who would help his aching subconscious mind, even though he hardly interacted with Sakshi he felt a strong bonding with her right from the moment he saw her on that night.
'Jatinder is busy with his life, why am i even expecting him to understand my life! I am the one responsible for this and i need to solve it myself!'  Dinesh finally understood to not rely on anyone for emotional favour.

He did not write back even though he received a couple of more letters from Jatinder mentioning about how difficult his life turned after he married and in one of the letters he also shared the good  news that he is the father of a boy whom he named Vicky. Dinesh somehow felt cut off from his past contacts, he understood what Jatinder was going through.

'i told him to come with me, if he had listened then he too would have been earning a good amount of money here! All i can do is send him some money! I hope this will help him for sometime!' Thought Dinesh and he even sent him a money order of sizable amount that would fulfill some of Jatinder's day to day requirements. As the months passed by Dinesh slowly overcame the loss of Sakshi, he focused his mind in the work trying out different recipes on his own, which were delicious and loved by all which inturn helped him more to overcome the missing feeling. Dinesh was once forced by one of his restaurant colleagues to participate in a competition at Banjara, a renowned  five star hotel in the heart of the city. Even though he was forced, Dinesh happily participated. The results were not appealing, he lost but gained much experience.

A year passed by with the Mishra family still mourning while Dinesh was very supportive. Pankaj could not handle the loss of his child well, he turned weak, sick and was agitated all the time, he hardly ate any food nor he slept. He kept to himself most of the time, Dinesh was looking after the restaurant as well as the family too just like a son whom Pankaj never had, Pankaj stopped talking to his family but confided in Dinesh.

"I believe you are a moral person, you know what Dinesh I do not want any parent to suffer like me. A parent must never go through the loss of their child. Can I request you for a small favour?" asked Pankaj.
