Raindrops
They stain the windows
Like a widows tears
Clouds
Grey and silent
Slide across the sky
Monotone
The wet asphalt
Slick under your feet
Your face upturned
The rain splattering designs
On your skin; like a homemade canvasThe thunder
It cracks
Ears hear it for miles
Soft pattering
Like a million tiny footsteps
Your body is washed anew
The dirt running off your fingertips
Your nose
Your eyelashes
The smell of Cinnamon and fresh dirt
Envelopes your sensesFlowers open up
To soak in the fallen water
Droplets rest on petal beds
Blues
Violets
Greys
Blacks
Darker shades of a calmer
Atmosphere
Rain
What makes this world clean
And beautiful
