I woke up due to a kick on my side-- only to realize I was on the floor.
On a fucking dusty floor.
And whoever kicked my side shall not see the morning!
Tinangka kong tumayo ngunit napagtanto kong mahirap iyong gawin. I was tied on my back, there was nothing much I can do but roll over. My baby bump also made it hard for me to sat.
“I swear if something happen to her or to the baby, you will regret it.”
It wasn’t me but it’s the same thoughts I wanted to say. Napalingon ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses at nakita si Rionessi. He was bleeding all over his face. May mga marka ng sapatos sa kanyang mukha so it wasn’t hard to decipher what happened to him. Dumudugo rin ang kanyang braso at ang kanyang tuhod. I know I am responsible for that gunshot n the knee but his other bruises and wounds, I can tell these ugly guys here were the one who did it.
And speaking of ugly guys, nasa harap namin ang pinakapangit sa lahat ng pangit.
“Hearing it would only want me to kill the baby first,” sagot ni Flavio.
Walang masakit sa katawan ko, maliban na lamang sa mga mata ko. Ang sakit niya sa mata, I swear.

But these ropes made it impossible and the least thing I could do is hiss in anger.

“Sa tingin mo ba ay natatakot ako roon? I’ve spent enough time to see how to do this without a flaw,” sagot ni Flavio at sinipa sa sikmura si Rionessi.
Everything is still hazy to me. Ang huling pagkakaalala ko ay papatayin ko ang biyenan ko-- hindi si Flavio ang papatay sa kanya. I’m also set to kill Flavio because he’s a sore to the eyes!
“Best of luck mate,” sagot ni Rionessi at ngumisi. I cannot help but compare that despite all his bruises and wounds, hindi maikakailang gwapo siya at malayong-malayo ang hitsura ni Flavio sa kanya. This moment just made me realize how much Rocket was molded after him. That devilish gaze, that annoying smirk-- oh shit. Speaking of my husband, malamang nag-aalala na siya ngayon!

“What the hell is this Flavio!?” sigaw ko.
Ibinaling niya sa akin ang tingin at nakakadiring ngumisi. “Hello Pi.”
