Since day 1 of our trip, I've been telling dad in so many ways about Flavio and his treachery ngunit tinatawanan lamang niya ako at sinasabing huwag akong magbiro ng ganoon.
I mean, C’mon hitsura pa lamang niya hindi na mapagkakatiwalaan, that is for sure but then my father told me not to judge people by their looks.
What the actual hell, I am not just judging Flavio. ‘yong sama ng mukha niya, triple niyon ang sama ng ugali niya. Nothing’s worst than the person you helped and treated like family but then will stab you deep in the back!
Gustuhin ko mang isa-isahin at gawan pa ng powerpoint presentation ang isang libo’t isang dahilan kung bakit hind dapat pagkatiwalaan si Flavio ay ayaw pa ring maniwala sa akin ni daddy.
He told me we’re on a vacation so as much as possible ayaw niyang maistress.
Sabagay, I arranged this trip only for fun and comfort. Dapat hindi ko sinisingit ang tungkol kay Flavio rito kasi mukha pa lamang niya nakakaistress na.
“Morning dad!” bati ko kay daddt nang maabutan ko sila sa dining area ng hotel. We’re in a famous vacation isalnd and currently on our day 4.
He smiled and kissed my cheek. “Good morning pretty! So saan ang destinasyon natin ngayon?”
John flipped through his iPad and showed it to dad. “Here!” wika niya at pinakita sa amin ang pictures na kung saan pwedeng magdive at mamasyal underwater. Dad was excited about it. I was thankful John helped me arrange this trip.
Huminga si daddy nang malalim. “Sana ay noon pa natin ‘to ginawa no? I should have spend more time with you before, noong malakas pa ako.”
“Dad!” sabay na bulalas namin ni Juan.
“C’mon, I’m not getting any younger. I’m an old sick man--”
“Your sick because I’m sure an external force interfered, duh.”
He shook his head at me. “No, listen children sooner or later I’ll be old enough and will stay in a casket whether you like it or not, gayunpaman mamamatay akong masaya dahil biniyayaan ako ng mga anak na gaya n’yo.”
John crossed his arms as he put down his iPad. “Daddy, malakas ka pa.”
Tumango. "I agree Juan plus masamang damo pa."
Napangiti si Daddy. “Who knows---”
I hate conversations like this. Dapat nga iwas stress hindi ba?
Kinuha ko ang cherry na nasa plato ni John at kinain iyon. “No more talking about ugly people and dying okay?” I chewed on the cherry and it was good kaya kinuha ko rin ang nasa plato ni daddy. “This tastes so good!”
